AFAIK, he hasn't put an application in, though I could be wrong.

BMAC wrote:OHHH YEAHHHHH!! We achieved the double yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!! All started with a gutsy win as underdogs in the B Grade, some say we were too old, too slow to be premiership side but guess what; WE ARE!!!!!!! OB and the rest of the B grade coaching staff, hats off, never once yesterday did we think we couldn't win, but we had great faith in the team and even when we were 2 players down by half time did we think we couldn't win. Ankle injury & broken collarbone. Young Giles "dreadlocks" was outstanding yesterday as was Bell. Commiserations to CLG, who fought hard all day.
After winning yesterday our coach OB has decided to step down as coach, what a fitting way to coach your last game. He took to a flag, lost the GF last yr, lost the elimination final previous yr.
Now onto the A grade who were pushed for most of the game only to blow the game open during the final quarter. Credit to Trinity who didn't lay down and fought right till the siren. To Bomber and all the coaching staff big congratulations. The game was very physical and only bad kicking really kept Trinity in the game. Some very easy shots missed. But a highlight for the day besides winning the flag was the huge screamer in the 3rd quarter. If any were on hand to witness it, WOW!!!
Young Reece Johnston was great all day kicking 4, has some speed about him! Nathan Rayner was his usual ball magnet self again and Ramah "Kayne West" Ahmed was BOG. He played CHB and was instrumental in leading us to victory. There were 2 injuries from our side 1 is broken ribs and the other is either a shoulder or arm, can't confirm yet!! But the boys wouldn't give a crap about the injuries until tuesday, once all the celebrating is done and dusted and the hangovers start to wear off.
Big thanks to the crowed who turned up, Kilburn footy club.
Big night back at the club, its been about 12 years since our last double was achieved.
