Certainly was our lowest turn out since we returned from Xmas.

In a rebuilding phase.

Stop poaching our players to Henley and maybe we will be able to field two sides.

Not 1 player has transferred so not sure what your on about. I'd be more worried about the quality not the numbers

Not ideal at this close to the seasons start. Good bloke Rick, thought he would've done well at the Hounds.

Hearing BOS may have known what was coming for a while and a new coach is confirmed? Not new to the club and previously played until this year might even be coming back to play now. Any truth?

Also rumors are Kenilworth have secured another league footballer conning out with Vea surely they would be close to max points especially with 2 players taking up 8

Season Preview - Blackfriars OS
2018
Won - 10
Lost - 8
Position - 6th (2x games outside top 5)
Notes - Association Medal winning ruckman

B Grade
Won - 6
Lost - 12
Position - 7th (5x games outside top 5)

Player movement
OUT
Bugeja, Jon
Den Dekker, Cam
Haines, Warren
Markou, Theodore
McCulloch, Ryan
Milne, Matthew
Richards, Cameron
Smith, Aaron

IN

Kelly, Rickie **
Mackinnon, Wyatt
Nguyen, Nam
Pigliacelli, Anthony
Sergi, Agostino
Wandtke, Corey

Heading into 2019, the Hounds would've been optimistic with new coach Rickie Kelly at the helm, unfortunately as has been informed, Rickie has left to further enhance his coaching opportunities at a higher level - whilst a move no one could resent or begrudge, it does unsettle preparations for BOS heading into the last month before Round 1.

Losing Matt Brincat last year to a knee injury is a massive blow, and it's unknown if Adam Pearce will continue, with whispers getting louder he has elected to hang up the boots. This leaves a massive hole in the ruck stocks for the Hounds, and will heap added pressure on Hillman and Rivett.

A quick glance over player movements, and Mcculloch and Markou the only significant losses, whilst of their inclusions only Pigliacelli and Mackinnon add great value to the top side.

Depth has been a constant struggle over the years for Blackfriars, and despite rectifying that to a degree in recent seasons and having improved results, late last season should how vulnerable the depth is.

On their day, capable of beating most sides, particularly at the smaller St Dominics oval - expect them to start the season full of vigor but come middle of the year they'll drop off the pace as injuries hit. Should still do enough to stay up.

Prediction: 8th

Good question mate I’m not sure as you know I’ve been interstate. I know you have Schulzy’s number, ring him up and ask him :)

Where to start with the Dees.. started 2018 as a flag fancy in D4, began the season justifying that wrap but soon went pear shaped when Friel was suspended for head butting. The loss of points derailed the Parkers season and sent them spiralling down to D5 for this year.

End of the season saw most the A grade walk out the door, and a new A grade walk in. Hard to see how they'll manage to gel early, lot of expectation rests on the shoulders of young Brad Walkley to lead the side. Word is Tuckwell and Diedrichsen have elected to $tay on this $eason which is a boost for the Demons, whilst the addition of Nathan McIver will also assist.

You can't drop a division where you were should've played finals, and not manage the grade, this will be all that saves Eastern Park from plummeting down to D6. They'll still win games through pure talent, but unfortunately the fact is they've lost too much talent and the game has evolved - coaches have evolved - and the 80's "raa raa" tactic for motivation just doesn't have the same impact these days, it'll cost them games.

Prediction: 7th

Tuckwell is the only one to go back out of everyone that has left, none of the others will and diedrichsen definitely won’t be back this year.. Good luck to them though, they will still be solid and hard to beat at Dwight reserve!

90% of the new recruits are army lads that work with nath Mciver, a couple of them are suppose to be alright but not sure about the rest

Wouldn't think BOS would advertise if that was the case..
