We definately appreciate that, scoreline might say we won easy but truth is for most of the game it was tough and even in the last CLG kicked 3 straight had me panicking a little so few lads stayed off LOL.zedman wrote:cheers PG, we obviously could have filled the team with A and B graders and had a bench but that's not in the spirit of the competition..the umpire was the joint A grade captain, his first time at it!

Also CLG were really good yesterday, scoreline doesn't reflect their effort and competitiveness, especially given they had basically no bench.
They will definately collect some wins by season end, also thought their umpire was fantastic.
Glenunga d Pulteney was a big result, puts the pressure right back on us and that loss before the break is proving hurtful!

It changes so much week to week in C Grade it's hard to say. Eastern Park were 17-0 and we went up there and got them by a goal in round 18 and derailed their season. We knocked off CBC by 16 goals in round 11 at Ovies but couldn't get within 4 goals in 2 attempts in finals. Nothing is certain that much I know but if I had $ on the top 5 I'd say it will stay the same with just some shuffling of the order.
I know there will be some big upsets in the half as well as every team showed something. I would bet on the fact CLG will win a couple of games and injuries throughout all senior grades at clubs will mean 2-10 changes each week for all teams.

The rules have changed which allows an A grader to drop 2 grades now.
