There umpire came in our rooms after the game and said that the player in question had been reported by an saafl official... I'm still waiting to see the out come from that? this was the last game of the first round. Did he just say that in hope our umpire didn't report him?
Salisbury might get on here saying not good enough and will be dealt with in-house

WILL IT????

Our player has a fractured jaw from said incident. Salisbury ump 2 feet away from incident yet no report.....our player wont play rest of the year!!

Has your club put in an investigation hefty?

Fine, then if no one else thinks it warrants further action, you might want to let go a bit too. Harping on about it here isn't going to do anything, except make it look like you're on a personal campaign to take down the Salisbury Football Club.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record - if the tables were turned and other clubs were sounding you out without any trial, you lot would be the first to ark up.

You know what I'm sayin' ;)

and even worse, you'd hate that the tribunal would look at any bias version of events on here and charge you on those....

its just not on.

Not harping on about it. Someone asked what happened and I replied with outcome.

And yes, I want to take down the Salisbury FC.....actually any team with black & white in their guernsey.

This part said as a joke?

Where have all the posts gone about TTG dominating the comp like was expected when they got dropped into this grade?

Who is blaming TTG? I notice the people who are "over" reading about this don't have a side in the comp, fact is, the only side that will benefit from all this is TTG I have said all along they should have sucked it up and played out the season where they started. I don't blame them for agreeing to come down, why wouldn't they? I think it was a dumb decision by SAAFL and will look even worse if TTG take out the comp, if they had so many out his week will they throw a D grade back in the mix too? We are the only ones voicing it so far because we are the only ones to have played them yet, if they beat other sides as easily they will feel the same, if not, well it is more of an indication how far away we are and not how good they are.

The only scenario I am seeing at the moment is Tea Tree Gully beating someone in the grand final by 15-20 goals. They killed us and now suddenly the reinforcements have arrived, not even SMOSH West Lakes will be able to keep up with them.

Got to love this one, and here i was thinking this bloke was only bad at cricket!

I'll stand by what I said back then, they were very good and I thought tht they were going to do so much better than they have, I'll admit I was wrong, the SAAFL knew they were rubbish and I gave them more credit than that, good on you for pointing it out though.

Back onto footy....

GG v Modbury out at the Burra-Dome going to be a cracker. Good contest last time out at Modbury. GG have to win to try and hold onto top spot with SMOSH to come in last round. Modbury still have a chance of finishing top with Salisbury to play in last round (should win that).

SMOSH have UNI @ UNI which is always a tough ask. 3 teams could be all on 26 points going into last round.

Lucky boy! Salisbury ump was at the incident but claims he was blocked by other players to see the incident, our ump didn't see it so can't report so it's all done and dusted, jaw just broke on its own it seems

Hope that the kid pulls his head in or at least Salisbury do something because he now would think that it's ok to do It again, I was on the interchange area ready to come on when it happened and a few comments from the stand glorifying it from some of the D grade guys indicates to me that some think its ok!

League needs to send the Salisbury ump a please explain.

What the hell is he doing sending people off with Yellow cards if he didn't see the incident?
We can't have umpires going around sending blokes off willy nilly.
