Combined under 18's side, these are just permits for the season as the side is administered under Unley.

Unley lads can play Unley seniors, Mitcham lads can play Mitcham seniors. Players stay registered to their clubs.

Raggies went OK against Scotch OC. down to 19 men and lost the lead at the 25 minute mark but responded and kicked the last 3 goals. Scotch look good, just missed a few chances. Raggies would be proud of how they got the win.

Controversial finish at the Seaton vs PNU game yesterday. Maybe Seaton need to upgrade their siren.

I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

No. Just that the final siren was not heard by the umpires.

I saw the Athelstone Vs Scotch game on the weekend and after all the hype about Scotch and all there recruits i thought they would win.

Both Teams played well but to Athelstone's credit they fought back after being down by 2 gaols with 10 mins to go to win by 3 goals.

Athelstone also lost there captain Trish before half time but to there credit there defence held strong.

I wasn't there so my comments are based on here say but anyone who was near the siren is adamant that it clearly had sounded before a rushed kick at a stoppage had been kicked and resulted in the winning point.

Like I said I wasn't there but one thing is certain. Seaton need to take some of their car park money and invest in a siren that is loud and clear and everyone will benefit. It's a shame a 41 goal thriller had to be tainted in the final seconds.

Great start for the Jets with a win and a huge day and night at the club!

Thought Pembroke were pretty good, but our entry and movement into the forwards and goal kicking was the difference, a lot of Pembroke's 22 behinds were rushed. Their ruckman is a pretty handy footballer! The standard was significantly better than div 4, Pembroke would have belted everyone (bar Scotch) from last year.

Surprised that Scotch lost, but from looking at the team sheet they had a few solid A graders missing. Did Paul Cahill play up forward or in the middle?

Thought it was a great game seaton v payneham. Played in good spirits with not many incidents. Umps seemed consistent without being great ( but when are they) I thought it was a line ball decision on the siren but IMO the right call was made. Credit has to go to the honesty of the timekeeper, could have quite easily left it for 2-3 seconds and assured seaton of the win, be very interesting to see this weeks results to compare where everyone is at.
