Elizabeth 7.7.49
Fitzroy 5.15.45

Fitzroy missed some very easy shots on goal.

Congrats to Heccies on making the GF.
Plympton v Elizabeth Prelim Final should be a cracker.

Beaten by a better side today but best of luck to the teams remaining.

Hope the wing heals in time for next week Dunc's...
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

That and a little bit of discipline, mate.
You played a ripper game back there. We kept kicking to you and kept running it out.

Pity I didn't have a guernsey on! Just a funny hat.
I did get itchy feet, especially when I saw you running the ball out of defence. I was thinking, "I coulda marked over the top of him", or "I could have chased him down", or "I could have run around him, picked that ball up and snapped a goal".
By the end of the game reality was taking hold. There's a reason I'm finished ;)

Kind of, your full back took offence to fact I laughed at him when he called our seven foot monster fat. I nicely suggested he should have a look at himself and the spare tyre he was carrying around his waist. I was trying to shepherd our big fella away from him - didn't touch him. He then knocked my water bottle out of my hand. Not very civil, I told him. ;) I didn't swear at him once. He had a few choice words for me though. Fat bokes telling other blokes they're fat, pretty funny.

Must admit, I was also very disappointed when your number 23 kicked his sixth behind on the day. I ran past him and informed him he'd just kicked a goal. No reaction! What the????

If you or Duncs had mustered up the courage to invite me in for a beer post-game, I would've accepted....

Duncs, how is the goal kicking practice. Are you ready to kick a bag this week?

physically or mentally? 8)
I saw you after the game with an ice pack on your shoulder, and wondered whether it was related to a hip n shoulder delivered by one of our more solid players.
It's only Wednesday, you shouldn't write yourself off just yet...
