MLFC v Salisbury won't be at Mawson Lakes there must be some confusion at the SAAFL, we've only put in to host our A Grade finals...we can't host Sunday games as Oval is already booked by another group.
Hmm, two northern clubs looking for a place to play final, I'm sure Salisbury Oval would be an ideal spot... ;)

I am a bit confused, can someone confirm if Golden Grove payed for the C6 game to be played at Harpers, or the league just decided to let most Cs/Ds teams just play at home as its easier for fixturing?

Or they could just play at 12:15pm at Harpers?

Not the dumbest idea, you could have all the C6 games for the week at the same ground. I am surprised to be drafted to play at home, as a club we have not done this for the C and D grade before? Having said this it has been a while since the A grade were not playing finals too. More than happy to play a home final if that is where we end up.

it's a draft you club has until 9am tuesday to let the league know if you are going to pay for the home final or not. then there will be a final copy put out tuesday afternoon. So if you know your club won't pay for the final or you oval is booked on sundays then you will see the change in the final copy.

If I was a betting man, I would bet that we WOULDNT pay for a D-Grade final.

That's a bit of a shame. We always pay for home finals. Not just for the footy but you get a fair turn out and you get more than your money back over the bar. Speak to your club and try to sell the idea. BBQ's and eskie's with $3 stubbies of beer, makes for a great sunday arvo!!!!
On the other hand i would prefer you guys to play a little closer to us so i can have a look ;)

The club has come to the party and have bought the home final! I am surprised but really happy with it! It is not that far Cows, if we get over the line we will have to do the drive next week! Love finals time and I am really looking forward to getting out there this week! We have pretty much a full strength side to pick from. The last 6 weeks of the season was tough for us with injuries and unavailability of players for various reasons and we have not been able to put our best side on the park for what seems like months! Hopefull that we should have all available for the finals now.

your club should by the home final. I'ts only your D grade that can have a home final so if they could of paid for the A's then why can't they do it for the D's when it's half the price.

Well there is the cricket oval in front of the Grandstand where I have played a final against Uni in 05 I believe, there is also a cricket oval behind the grandstand which if I can recall correctly was the size of a postage stamp. The HUGE ground comment made me think it was the piddly little oval behind, when my first impression was it was the front oval which IIRC wasn't a bad size... We did loose heavily that day and I can not remember much so I could be corrected!
