Modbury has bought the C2 game so i believe as there was no money given by GG the D's go to the same ground with the c's if thats the case. Modbury Oval is the place to be this weekend A's B's C's &D's finals over 2 days!!!!!!!!

Couldn't GG have requested a triple header?

They could... i doubt Mobdury would have wanted it as a few of the guys are police officers who work night shift. There may also be a rule about finals and triple headers etc

looks like the GG charity club have been crying to the SAAFL.... IMO if you dont want the home ground advantage you play were you are told and Modbury obviously paid for the games C grade included. That means Modbury has paid for 1 game on the Sunday. I appears that the government musnt have given GG enough cash!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Why does it matter so much to you where the game is played ?? GG beat Modbury earlier in the year at Modbury only to have it reversed later in the year and same against TTG so it OBVIOUSLY doesn't really matter where the games are played..... Cash shouldn't come into it

Well Choccies it shouldnt matter where the game is played. So y do GG bitch and moan to get it changed? Now instead of playing up the road at Modbury its being played at Salisbury. Well thought through Golden Grove, brilliant idea. Worthy of another grant! how long will it be before they stop getting silver service.
How's this for an idea, bite the bullet, get a loan and pay for your own damn club rooms like every other club had to when they started! Then u can have all the home games u want at Harpers.

as i said earlier i dont really think the players care where the game is in fact i wish it was at modbury and im sure the majority of the boys do as well. Obviously the players weren't asked and it was a board decision, and what that has got to do with building club rooms im not sure but great post champ, keep up the good work.

I'm sure the players couldn't give a rats where it is played Sass.... that's the issue here isn't it ?? Sounds like you are harbouring some jealousy or anger or something... I would very much doubt that any other club's C or D grade players had any pull when it came to decisions like that so don't make it out that they have !! The players aren't bitching about where the game is, where just trying to get it into some thick skulls that WE DON'T CARE !!
And do you think your club rooms were solely paid for by your club and not assisted by the council ?? Wouldn't be many around like that pal...

We know there probably not it would be the board that would see it as unfair but alot of unfair things happen at GG dont they like not being given a free home game at there free oval

The club rooms actually were paid solely by the Sporting Club and a further loan will be taken out to improve facilities in the not to distant future.
