No mate genuinely asking....known the bloke for a long time.
Crusty is going alright still new to the caper but he'll be fine. He has some blokes lined up which he will be speaking to in the coming weeks.
Any names riddler??
I'd love to name them but would rather wait until they are 100% confirmed

Drove past St Pauls training last night on the way home from work and stopped for a minute or two.

Either you guys have;

a) changed your colours to red and blue
b) started training with Hope Valley
OR
c) pinched alot of players that used to play for a red and blue team.

So which is it?

Intresting to see that many blokes out at div 7 pre-season training though...

all of the above :D ......nah just kidding that is Hope Valley they have gone behind our backs and used our oval for pre season the past couple of years and because they pay the school lets them

They have 3 sides hence why they would have a lot of numbers out.

We also re-started last night at another venue and would have had about 25 out i reckon.

How is it you guys don't get first dibs on your own oval?

Still find it interesting Hope Valley don't even ask us either they just go and do it.

Mate that's bullshit! So much for developing alumni relations. You should tell the school that all the people who have gone through your footy club won't feel like donating for scholarships, bursaries and the like because they are treated like shit.

It is on my agenda mate to have a chat with the school very soon, have had enough of this crap! haven't been able to use our own HOME ground for pre season for as long as i can remember North Adelaide used it for a couple years now Hope valley have taken over.

Our Pre Season schedule has us returning back to the school March 11th. I hope Hope Valley will not still be there, if they are maybe we'll go down to their oval and train there!

There are 2 or 3 ovals, I really don't see why you can't both use it...

We're scheduled to be there on the 13th and 18th of March, then after easter we return to Valley Rd. I've often wondered why you guys don't train there and we do?? Your ankles would probably be thankful that you don't train there anyway

Cool guess we'll be training together then on the 13th and 18th, should be interesting considering we play each other in a trial game a week later :)

 yes not the softest ground going around, reason we don't train there is because we don't get a chance to.

How is the ground anyway? looks green from the road but is it still uneven?

It's a lot better than it was in Oct/Nov (I've been playing cricket there). It's pretty hard and is uneven in places but it's getting a lot greener and seems to be improving. I reckon there would be a few sore backs and ankles today amongst the hope valley faithful.

I here where you're coming from too with your oval. I'm sure most of our players would love to train on our home ground as well..

Looks like Hope Valley got the raw end of the deal.
Much prefer to be running on lush parklands and reserves instead of the hard clay surfaces out there. Anyone got any scratches or sprained ankles yet?

hope valley rang school 12 months ago and asked if oval was available, told it was and 2 hire it it would cost $15 per hour. we took them up on their offer and thought st pauls must train mon/wed. there is more than enough room for both clubs and if crusty rang charlie i"m sure they could work something out.
