Settle petal, guys take pot shots at clubs like ours, but we need to laugh at them and not retaliate to bullshit. You are better than that carey and I know how hard you have worked at your club. Sometimes invisability is the best medicine. ;)

in regards to Central United....as a coach you can put in as many systems, plans as you like, but as they found out only takes 1 person to have it stuffed up. With that comes the club being dragged down with it, been happening for a hundred years. The club is just the name of the people within the club. Only thing you can do is your homework on the character of the person your recruiting. For what its worth when we played CU in round 18 all great blokes who wanted to have a kick. they could have gone silly with nothing to play for and being beaten quite easily on the day but maintained their discipline. STIGMA and Reputation is very hard to get rid. For all those that have been haggling about posting so my avatar comes up.........there you go!!!!!!

Probably because most ovals in Adelaide are stupidly hard right now and need a lot of water.

A junior game was called off at Walkerville the other week because of the problem!

Flooding?
Don't think so.
Drove past about an hour ago and yes you are right there was water to one side just off of the cricket pitch.
Think you will find the pitch area may have been fertilised by our man Les Burdett which in turn needs water bruz.
Stick your head out the window mate, there ain't no rain coming.
I'm pretty sure Les will also be rolling that centre area before the games tmrw.
Oval will be a picture.
You could bring your wellies if you like but just keep them in the car.
You won't need them.
Bring your knee pads instead.

Ingle Farm is very hard at the moment, it was terrible a while back when we had all that rain, became like a swamp, we had the ground rolled to help it, now with the warmer weather it's turned it rock hard.

Flew down from Darwin to play us in the AGrade in what we were told to be his 1st game of the year but apparently has played 2 in the Bgrade and kicked 3 in one I think and 1 Cgrade game. Played Agrade last week and I was surprised he qualified. Then another source of mine mentioned it earlier this week. Very handy midfielder.
