I would say they would have liked to get more out of them. Both missed quite a few games, Wilkinson kept dislocating his knee.

Aspirations to coach one day Quichey?

Perhaps, but only when the body packs it in. Always observing and analysing for future reference.

That'll serve you well if you do get into it.

Interesting to hear on the weekend that the Hectorville coach gave some of their players a printout of their likely matchup and a rundown of that player last time they played us. If he puts that much preparation into every week then it's impressive.

They didnt spit on the umpire... just at his feet!

But I do agree.

I didn't really want to comment on this at all, but I have to back Browny up on this as I was a couple of metres from it when it happened.

There are some people commenting on a summarised statement of the incident that has been misinterpreted.

The player wasn't trying to spit on the umpire, he was 2 metres from him and spat at his feet in front of himself as a sign of disgust and disrespect. Still likely to get games when combined with the mooning and additional abuse, but a different ballpark to actually spitting on the ump and hardly worth a life ban as some have suggested.

sounds like someone is putting their hand up to give evidence at the tribunal! although it doesnt look as if any BL players are on report of you can believe the SAAFL website

Apologies Browny, I was just commenting from what I had heard on here. As I was saying, I had just popped out for a squiz and was there most of the day but I had left before the actual incident.

SD, nice work, I love a betting market even if you will not take bets!

What odds for Guy Marshall from WOS, proven vote winner & having another great year - would have him over Tom Easton without a shadow of a doubt, way too short at $7
