Sniping, cheap shots are a weak act in my book!
My post was having a go at the bloke from Pt Districts who all he wanted to do was hit people late, throw elbows because it was his last game of footy as he was retiring! Just because your retiring doesn't give you the right to act like a (GOOSE)
Our coach wasn't happy with what he was seeing and spoke his mind!

They had the stupidity to say our coach was a poor representation of the MFC (What a bunch of wankers) just because they had a player playing his last game throwing elbows & late hits ( Good on him picking on the little blokes) Our coach said his peace! In my eyes anything wrong with that NO....
However if that's the way number 1 wants to go out good on him!!! You get more respect by leading by example rather than by being a Dick....(Way to go out)

Are you sure it was number one? A tall fella?
How do you know he's retiring?

Definately number 1 , tall guy with a headband.
Only interested in taking on the smallest player.

lets just say they lived up to expectations.

one of the dirtiest acts I have ever seen on a footy field.

don't wanna say too much, but if their ump didn't report him its an absolute joke.

nope

so im hoping our ump reported it if theirs didn't.

but it happened directly in front of the Salisbury ump, so im assuming he is the one who would put in the report?

and if he doesn't then its up to or ump?

im not 100% sure how it all works

Better chance of your ump reporting than theirs and I don't think it matters which umpire is in control of the match at the time, both can report.

Two of the Salisbury players said to me at separate times during the game that they were really dissapointed with the guy and I did notice he was only sent off for 10 minutes but played no further part so I assume the coach told him to pull his head in too. He has to be reported, especially as I was told he is only 17 (big guy!), needs to learn early that this is unacceptable behaviour or he will do it again, not sure how our guys jaw is but didnt look good (heard anything Johnno??).

What game was this in guys? C or D grade?

I wasn't at the club long on Saturday night so haven't heard of an incident.

Our club doesn't stand for anything sinister, so if there was an issue I'm sure it will be dealt with. Was good to hear that other guys were condemning any alleged action, as this is more what our club is about.

C grade, one of your players said to me that it will get dealt with, indicated its hard enough being in the northern suburbs and trying to avoid that stigma and this happens and hurts the whole clubs image. Well played by the coach in not putting him back on as he wasn't sent off for the game. He is only young but if that's what he thinks footy is about maybe the games not for him.

We had an incident during our last game with Salisbury!
There umpire came in our rooms after the game and said that the player in question had been reported by an saafl official... I'm still waiting to see the out come from that? this was the last game of the first round. Did he just say that in hope our umpire didn't report him?
Salisbury might get on here saying not good enough and will be dealt with in-house

WILL IT????
