Almost as good as SHOC having 5 teams with the double chance ;)

3 teams finished top(A's,c's & d's) other finished 2nd :D
but fielding 5 sides is a great effort indeed double blue, lets wait and see how many flags these clubs can bring home as thats what counts at the end of the year.

Definitively a tough side to beat, the depth at the club is pretty impressive! Having all but one of your grades finishing on top and the one finishing 2nd is a top effort! We will have SHOC first up which is no easy task as you said anything can happen in finals, love finals time!

dont no how many players if any can shoc drop back this week as their div 7r side, finshed top and will have the week off
you boys could be in for a good game, but really can not see you losing to them its just about a 2 horse race.
Read Salisbury had a few drop back today as their c grade couldnt lose top spot,so they may play a few again and cause a upset over mawson.Again dont really no the rules on it that well could anyone fill us in on how it goes

Your kidding, Check the team sheets from the last 4 weeks and dont be trying to stir trouble here!

Maybe next week with the three grades above us having the week off well play a few extra players...

Thanks for changing your post from the one you first put up after you must of had a few drinks calling me this and that. I never said you did or didn't drop any players or crap like that, all i asked was what i was told sat arvo.

I don't really have enough time in the day to study C6 teams sheets to much mate, like you first asked me too. All i will say is, you should let Turbo know it isn't good sportsmanship to laugh at a 17yo when he is getting carried off on a stretcher after doing his knee, telling him that is what you get when you play against him. Bad sportsmanship in my book.

Good luck this week.

Alot of drinks under the belt inspired the last message, sorry. Just felt that we deserve a little recognition from where we were two years ago, last year and now where we find ourselves. Nothing but hard work and comradarie has got us to where we are now, not dropping players nor holding on to players longer than required.

As for the knee incident, that's the bloke he is and wouldn't expect anything more. I did hear the comment and I explained that isn't the guy I want to play football with. For all he does well, just silly little lapses like this are his undoing. He has been a handy addition to the side and is an enjoyable character on the training track, one of our keys to improving this year. But when a player is injured, nothing more needs to be said. No one heads out to harm or cause injury to the opposition and an unfortunate event causing grief and loss of livelihood shouldn't be applauded. Sincerest appologies from the rest of the Salisbury lads and a speedy recovery to the young lad.

Good luck this week.

They can drop players back if they want to, not sure if they would though i would think they would be keen to give them the weeks rest, maybe a few fringe players would get a game to see if they would be picked the next week but I wouldn't think that winning a C6 game would be on the highest priority for SHOC. the rules are free interchange which cost us last year in C6 against PAC, I think it is an unfair rule but it is in the rules. as i said though I would think that SHOC may have a few players play against us that might want to push to play in their D grade and if so good luck to them.

I couldn't see SHOC dropping players back with all sides in finals, good lads and that's not what it is about for them. A couple get injured and it rocks the boat higher up. Wouldn't think a c6 final would warrant that. Anyway you never know. Hopefully that "Downhill Skier" comment doesn't come back to haunt GG ;)
It will be a good game, i would think i might head down and watch you guys fight it out.

Agree Cows, with all sides playing deep into tthe finals I think that they cant afford to be putting players in their D grade to try and get a win. Really looking forward to the game this week! We are in no way looking to take this lightly, we wanted that top spot but you guys got there in the end, really shows the importance of a tight defense. Im not familiar with the "downhill skier" comment??

Just a bit of stir mate for what Footy Rulz said on here after you played them earlier in the year, i think you lads got stuck into him for it. One of our lads put something on here last year that really fired Adel Uni up and they came out and beat us. I am always very careful now what i put on here. Yeah we only jusy got there in the end. After 18 games and to have only 1.5% separating us it shows how even both our sides are. Gonna be a great finals series. Do you know where you guys are playing yet??

Yes Cows I remember FR mouthing off after the Sacred Heart game which is totally against what our D grade is about. We played Sacred Heart 2 weeks ago but know they were depleted due to injuries in their higher grades.....looks like they had a good win on the wkend so will be a great hit out for both teams.

Sidenote Cows: As both your D and C grade finished top will you blokes be hosting the games next week at Flinders Park??

The C grade comps would normally be played on the Sunday for the first week though yeah? I hope so, Mrs Tex has planned my sons birthday party at 12 on the Saturday based on this!! Every other year they have been on a Sunday in the first week or two so I would hope this would still be the same.

MLFC v Salisbury won't be at Mawson Lakes there must be some confusion at the SAAFL, we've only put in to host our A Grade finals...we can't host Sunday games as Oval is already booked by another group.
