Eastern Park Football Club.

This team was div 6 in 1997 (i believe could be 96) now 13 years later are premil finalist in div 2. Now a lot of the players there are juniors from the club, however all these junior players at the club are paid, and have been paid well over the journey. EPFC have for the last 13 years payed every player that plays A grade footy. It range from (in my time there 99 - 06) $20 demon dollars (used over the bar) to $100 cash. Now if this money was not paid would they have made it so far and had such a big junior base, we will never know. All i know is they have been very, very smart in keeping the same players to make the club stronger. They would now have the biggest junior base in the northern suburbs. All fron the a grade success. This has all come from paying those DIV 6 players that now play very successfuly at the div 2 level.

All i will say about Brahma Lodge is that we are trying to follow in the footsteps of clubs like Eastern Park. BLFC had 2 junior sides this year, next year we wont 3. There is a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes to make the junior program grow and be the next group of a grade players at BLFC. This junior program will grow from a strong and successful A grade side.

Also just want to finish by saying BLFC is still looking for quality a grade footballers for next year. As you are aware we have piles of $$$$$$$$$ avaliable. So if you are keen for a house deposit or a new car PM me and will make sure you never have to work again.

This is the end of me defending My club. Every club thinks there clubs perfect but therenot people just need to move with the times

So will unknown and yourself get a gig in the A grade next year with all these new blokes?

come stand me next year and ask me again or will you be too busy on the sidelines spectating and bagging players from the top tier of the lovely hounds oval.

Was a genuine question unknown, but yes I'd be happy to stand you next year. Might actually find myself playing up the ground next year so it just may happen. And you're right, it is a lovely oval. Drove past yesterday, surface looked fantastic.

Yeah its looking that way. Payney and co. have recruited some quality players (and people) to the club for 2010.

Training starts next Tuesday, and hopefully the numbers are up early, especially with the club having a C grade this year for the 1st time in 15 years...

Finals would obviously be our main goal, but it would be nice to have another crack at a Grand Final! ;)

Grand Finals are good fun ha ha . We considered a C grade this year but we want to make sure we have it all covered, the trainers and support staff in particular

Have heard Westminister OS will have good numbers again this year and WILL nominate a C grade side. Think they will be a shoe in for finals next year.

Injury can't be too serious, he was charging in on Saturday sending the red pill down.

So i guess this means they have 3 sides this year and a good under 16s side.If the young lads are trainning already.
50 on the the track this time of year is outstanding numbers.
When you think about those players that dont train when playing cricket extra.
So looks like the heat will be on for a run in the A grade.

Looks like the boys from the lodge are trying to buy a flag after they blew it last year and the pain is running deep.
