C grade might be a chance this year, if u dont lose any 06 players

na we would be pretty reluctant as we would need to find a new oval for the Cgrade as we share st doms with the first xviii.

more paperwork, more iscore transfer requests, more discussions about unfinancial players before clearing them. i think i will have to give up my day job to keep up with all the administration tasks. geez the players get it easy in this caper

cj, where do the kids you get to come over from the First 18 play normally ? I saw the B's play last year v The Winnie Royals & some of the younger blokes were a tad intimidated, as they should have been.

Don't know why they'd be intimidated by wingfield :? they're a little bit older and have a bit more weight than some young boys, so what they're slow and fell harder in the end!
No one is intimidated at our club that i know of and why would you be! Got plenty of blokes around to back up the young lads and push them through!

GGrove lookin alright this year? I too would like to know how they're going/picked up for the season.

I know GG are screaming for people to play them at night there. But noone wants too, so they have wasted thyre investment on good lights. I think we were the only team to play them under lights last year.

Last year we had Friday night fixtures almost every week for junior grades and 1 C Grade game which was very popular. Last year we werent allowed to play Sat night games but this year we were given council approval for 6 Sat night and unlimited friday night (i think)

Yeah everythings looking really posotive at this early stage. Weve had no less than 40 out at training every night with a max of 54.

We have a few past a graders from a couple of years ago returning. 3 or 4 from Birdwood, 2 or 3 from Brahma Lodge training with us. 1 from Ingle Farm and 1 from Smithfield.

New coach Charlie Wintle is in negotiations with a couple of others but i guess we will have to wait and see. We have only lost a couple from last years group so everything looks encouraging for 2007
