The EFC have told the MSJFL post the 2011 season that they will remain in the league. Pretty poor and deceptive from the EFC.
The EFC have become a very minor part of the MSJFL and a weak club; their u16s from last year were their last strong group. Ever since they have moved their seniors to the SFL and rumours of their juniors moving started they have got progressively weaker and weaker.
Zedman, I dont understand why you are so cynical of the MSJFL, it peaked in numbers a couple of years ago, but is currently not too much lower. However, there is certainly an issue with the older grades. IMO some sort of merger between the MSJFL and Metro West in the older grades, say u13s and above would be an ideal solution, as both leagues are having issues at the senior end.
It disgusts me the action of club(s), that are known to pay a significant number of senior players, yet let their juniors struggle and blame the league for their failure.
