Good luck Deeman, you have a great attitude to the game. And it is a game. Some of us get a bit too serious and some of us understand. You understand. Best wishes.

Pretty sure the oldies at the bowls club would prefer you to stay involved in footy so they dont have to fight a bloke less than half there age for coffee and scones.

great first week on the track and it brought quickly back the reason i loove this game so much
alot of new faces was good to see but as the campaign gets closer we need to get alot of the players from last year back
its a pity we have lost several more to overseas duty but we do wish them the best in health and safety and that they arrive back like the other lads that toured last year, safe and well
as we venture into this new season the ambitions and hopes of this little club continue to grow and hopefully our season will again successfully achieve the goals we have set out like last season
i would also like to thank the messages of support both the ones on the forum and the PM that i have recieved and in time will answer some of the questions i was asked
footy is back and to some who will not have the same feelings, the deeman is back

Hey dee man. Looking forward to seeing Ovies against Smithfield in a few weeks time. A few important players not there this year but with the new players coming in I think that Ovies should be able to put a competitive team on the park each Saturday. Really looking forward to seeing the Army lads play more games this year and also see the new local lads as well when im in Adelaide.

good to see you around the club mate
the new guys that have been training are coming along nicely at the moment and i was happy to see none of them playing for their old club over the weekend in their trial
as you know, until you got that signiture their not yours but a couple have signed late this week so when we put them through i will be happier

Looking forward to being there when ever my job and travel commitements allow. Will be good in a few weeks time to watch the new players in action. Going on how I played a few weeks ago in the NSW preseason carnival I should be able to squeeze a few more games out of the body if needed this year.

we have had good numbers for us at this stage but always room for more players especially with the amount of army guys we have and their schedules and overseas work
have lost three already for call up to afganastan and about 8 are not due back into adelaide till late aptil early may
a few players training with us signed on thursday night and we have another 4 that will sign this week
that will go along way to helping with the local players
so anyone else who is looking for a kick and catch you are more than welcome down at the cattery

looking foward to tody
we had good numbers out during the week which was pleasing
todays squad only has 8 regular players in it from last season so it will be interesting to see how the lads go
with a majority of the boys not in town till late april it looks like our depth might be better than last year but that will be needed since we loose so many of the guys at any one time

good hit out by the lads today against smithfield
a big crowd was treated to a good game of footy
we had 12 new players playing in the blue and white today which was good news for the club
they played well and even tho we will take a few games to get to know each other was a great first up effort
well done to smithfield and i wish them the best for the year

gives you the shits when a struggling little club has a half a dozenguys out training and playing and then some country club comes offers them $300 a game to play for a club that has not won a game since when ever.

Had heard callington were offering this money to players, came into my work asking if anyone wanted a game for this money, hilarious could be a long year for them

We have had a bloke put in a clearance to head out to callington also. I have heard he has been offered $350 a game. Looked through last years games list and he only played a handful of A grade games. This is ludicrous for a bloke that played mainly div 7r football.
