as i enter my 38th and last year involved in footy i must admit that my love for the game has never deminished
this being the case,it does not get any easier
as we grow older we like to rember what the game used to be like and how much it has changed
in fact the game has never really changed, just peoples ideas of the game, how it should be played and whats the best course to take to get the best out of your clubs
the actual game is still the same
goals ,points, team work, individual brilliance ,umpires and the one eyed love of your team and club
one thing that has changed the most is the coach, his methods and ideas
this is one of the reasons im leaving the game but as most will tell you,its about 37 years to late
as this season approaches i am really looking forward to the part of the game i love
my team, the opposition, everyone getting the best out of themselves and that bond that all players and coaches have from all clubs, the love of the game
Good luck Deeman, you have a great attitude to the game. And it is a game. Some of us get a bit too serious and some of us understand. You understand. Best wishes.

All the best hope your last season can bring you the ultimate success you've been chasing and deserve.
