best i had as a junior would have to be steven Pavlich. great motivator and was not much he didn't no about footy.

another junior coach who i learnt a great deal from was Ray Freeborn when i was at Flinders park.

in senior ranks at Smosh we had Rod Saunders ( from nth Adel) when i first started playing. was a great teacher and was a sad time at the club when he left. And a bad choice followed by the club.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

I would agree with David Tiller. Very good at developing the younger players in Norths Under 17's sides over the years.

I know that i frutrsted him on many occasions but i found him to be a good coach.

Although i have not been coached for any games by him have deffinately been impressed with Ashley Mitchell.

Craig Smith played for Riverside, early 90's, then went to Uni.

I think Craig coached Eagles under 15s last year and is doing the U16s this year.

Agreed Neil Rawlings is a fantastic coach, currently involved at Port Adelaide and is great bloke on and off the field.

Burra, if you were at North (suspecting you were with Tiller and Edwards), you'd know my old man, trainer of the juniors out there!

if so lets talk about how good he is as a coach, i would go into battle for him anyday of the week.

p.s. if your reading this paul i think now i deserve to don a guernsey
in the a grade.

I was fortunate to spend time under Nivo at Central United. Helped me grow as a player, as a person and as a man. United the group with passion and motivation like I've never experienced before. My tip is Ingle Farm will be very competitive and surprise many teams in Div 5 this year.

My dad of course.... as a kid I cant think of a better person to learn from... your dad is always your hero when you grow up so to be fortunate enough to have him coach your team is always the best thing !!
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Both of these guys really had a huge impact on the Gepps Cross Football Club, Kempy brought in a new style of professionalism that started it and Rawlo finished with the club in Div 1 for the first time ever. When he first came to Gepps, he had been sacked by Athelstone and people questioned why the club had appointed him, I guess we know who was right!

I was lucky enough to spend some time under Bruce Winter through the SANFL, only for a summer but he was an excellent coach. He and Eddie Hocking are my top two. ;)
