If they are anything like that team they will do well. Anyone going to watch Scotch Vs Pembroke today at Goodwood at 12.15. I will probably have a look before I go and watch Ovies at Payneham/Norwood

Sorry finn I should have broke that up more was talking about the difference between the uni side from roseworthy this year and the roseworthy team from 99

I went to watch a little bit of the Scotch Vs Pembroke game. Decent sized teams couldnt really judge them on the little footy I was able to watch with the little time I was at Goodwood oval

the farmers have some decent players but the quality is a bit all over the place. they'll be solid but not a standout i'd imagine - purely due to the numbers studying out at roseworthy now which dropped dramatically when the winemaking course switched to waite campus.

Ovingham should be in AFL. Surely 110pts is enough! Modbury must not have played to their potential either.

They are playing against blokes who are too lazy or not good enough to play higher grades within their club. Lets be honest,we are playing C grade club footy here. Most blokes in the league would take a win as a bonus as they are just out there to have a kick and a catch.I dont want to put a dampener on things but f**k me when I was playing C's last year and I saw a bad decision by an umpire i'd just laugh, thats how serious I took it (Finals time was different). If it was a's or b's id be livid.......

Dont worry Ovies have a few who are abit lazy and could play higher, and also guys who may not make other clubs higher grade's,they are just a small club with no money no members and no sponsership so its hard to attract enough numbers for 2 grades but things are looking up and hoping for a big year this year then build up to 2 sides in 09

Yeah going down to watch might not be there till a little bit into the first quarter cause i plan on watching a bit of the crows game on the tele before i go down there. I havent seen the team yet but I believe that Bazz is out this week and Moorey will be out for probably a number of weeks. Im sure who ever comes into the team will do well whether it be Levi or Roger or Kyle or someone else. Look forward to seeing how the boys go.

Had about 4 or 5 players play yesyerday that didn't play in the trial against ovies and another 3 definates to come in and a couple of others that are supposedly going to come out this week, wait and see though. Pembroke were ok when they had room to run but they really didn't like any of the hard stuff.

Should be a good game this week with PHOS quietly going about things with 2 good wins and Ovies having some injuries from the weekend. I dont know what players will be available this week so will be interesting to see who comes in this weekend.

Hey Wattle any news on Klompy and how he is going? I watched training tonight and noticed that hilly was training and locky did a little and Moorey was back out on the track and looked very sharp on the track so a very big chance of playing this week if Chris wants him to play.

pretty sure they started with a full side, don't know if they lost any during the game and had to go short at some stage. Wasn't noticable anyway.

Heard Ovies got up by 1 point,up by 8 goals and done a power but atleast held on for the 2 points.3 from 3 so far so good. The plan to rest 7 to 8 players nearly backfired on them but rotating players when you got to many is the only fair option.Heard no Cooke,Newman,Klomp,O'brien,Brotherton,Allcock and Richo.

heard north pines had a big win today. around 140 points, pity i couldn't get there for a look. They reckon they should've won by more but everyone got greedy in the last quarter and tried to kick goals.
