CLG ,rumour has it trying to recruit hard, could a few premiership players return to clg ??? Time will tell. Time for some tough calls at clg maybe...

which players would you be referring to? wouldnt be harvs i dont think from what i hear hes pretty happy down south and had a great year last year. cant think of too many more that would have played in the last flag that arent still around the club?

and of course we'll be recruting we probably were two or three good players off a GF last year so we need to really push for that this year

I can think of 4 who are not playing there, one of them won a mail medal suggest u look at the premiership photo.

The more the merrier that come to the club next year. Exciting times ahead for the club. Why do you say time for tough calls at the club benchmark??

I am going the same as DK but with North Haven on top.

I base this on the only game of Div 6 I have ever seen and my belief that North Haven will have the best Ruckmen and Full Forward in the division. This combined with the recruitment of CHB from Wagga, a key position player with a recent Div 2 Premiership, a big marking forward who admittedly is unproven at this level and an onballer who has the best skills of anyone I have seen in Divs 4 and 5.

Also I think the key factor is that North Haven's young team will have one more year of experience under their belt, which is invalueable.

This is just my opinion and is certainly up for debate.

Again this is only opinion but in a good team at this level I think Leigh Forrest would be the most talented full forward in Div 6 in 2011.

Its not my position to say the players name but when you do find out who the player is I would be surprised if anyone questioned my statement. I have only seen two other players decimate a team so single handedly as this bloke in the lower divisions and he did it to my team in a prelim final. Just to clarify though I am referring to past performances and commenting on their skill which I have witnessed.

I never said North Haven were good this year only that my opinion is that they will be good next year.

Its only my prediction nothing more than that.

Although I will predict with absolute certainty that North Haven will not get relegated from Div 5 again next season if that puts your mind at ease Scottroo

Nice one :D

Also my tip for Paralowie is based on nothing other than whats on here and to put my tipping into perspective I lost my office tipping comp to a girl who thought Tony Modra still played for the Crows.

what gives you that feeling WLF?..i need some good news :)

hounds: maybe if you had stayed at bos they may have grabbed a few more games from the 9 they lost in close margins? ;)

and they werent equal to the other sides..thats why they lost those 9 games..they were 2-3 players down on what is required to win enough games to stay up..the loss of parish which i cited at the start of the season is a great example..if he had played this year you would have grabbed back 2-3 of those games i reckon..he is a match winner in div 5/6..after saying all that i still expect them to be finalists in 2011 for sure..

and PG, arent you meant to be in the div 7 thread now? :)..just joking mate..good luck next year..bounce back up.. :)

mighty staying may have saved us, maybe. he did play a ripper in the '07 GF.
rob parish leaving hurt us and zed did say very early in the piece that this would be the case.
reality was we won 2 games and failed in 16 others. regardless of the margins they are the facts.
2011 another year and time to get back into some finals action.
