He wasn't on the team sheet so it doesn't look like it. Seems as though your sources weren't to kind to you NM.

He wasn't far from the truth, his name appeared on their line-up sheet as an emergency, must've been some intricate reason why he didn't end up playing.

North Haven over Elizabeth today by 32 points. YEAH BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great win by the lads. We came out today played 4 quarters of tough hard footy we was great for us. We've been competitive all year and to get our 1st win today was excellent. To have 21 contributers was excellent for us aswell.

Heard Elizabeth rested a couple of their better players, which also helped our cause.

We adjusted to and handled the wet and slippery conditions well, got to the footy first, won it and used it really well. The umpires were again very poor. One in particular was very bad.

Also great win by the C grade that's their first game of the year aswell.

I can vouch for Elizabeth not resting players, they aren't that self-assured, there were legitimate reasons for their players out, 13 I'm led to believe.

Very simple really, he wasn't cleared by the league and he hasn't trained yet, should be right this week.

very entertaining game out at The Lodge on Saturday
Heccies way to smooth for our blokes who held their own for the first half but just couldnt get a gallop up towards the end
We blew our chance to steal a good break in the second quarter with poor goal kicking, took our seventh shot to get a goal  after keeping Heccies to only 1 goal with the strong breeze in the first quarter
The third quarter they got out to a 5 goal lead and thats how it ended up, although wouldve been a lot more if it wasn't for Big Ace Bellman marking inside heccies forward line for most of the game

Heccies are the Premiership favourites without a doubt as they have other avenues to goal than just Olsson as they kicked 3 in 2 minutes when he went down with what looks like a serious injury

We have a lot of hard work to do and need to get a lot fitter if we are going to get near these blokes

Well done to our B Grade who tried to let a 5 goal lead turn into a loss  got a great run from our umpire too in the last 5 minutes with some lets just say interesting free kicks ;)

Terrible luck for him, hasn't had a good run with injuries in recent seasons. Might be earning himself the nickname of "porcelain" ;)

It appears to be a bit of a running theme for the gun forwards in Div 5 - Jones (HV), Olsen (Hec), Smith (Plym), Hibberd (Plym), Donnelly (Eliz) earlier in the year...

Scotty Mac's turn now! It would be selfish of him to kick goals when the rest of them are all injured! :)

Having a great year... Some thought they might struggle after finishing 4th at end of 2009 minor round in Div 6

although we finished 4th, it was more of our first half of last season that let us down. won 10 of our last 11 matches last year so obviously we started getting things together which I think a lot of ppl in div 5 didnt know. Still a long long way this season and plenty of work to do. As we have seen by the results this year, on the day anyone can beat anyone.
