Some very interesting results there. Didnt see the Havens beating Elizabeth coming. Big win for the Valleys as well after such a hiding last week.

Heccies the real deal, some very good players in their side, Number 8 had a blinder. Olsen gone with what looks like a bad Hammie. Interesting the game was in the balance in the 3rd qtr then Olsen went down and Heccies kicked the next 3 goals in 5 minutes.

North Haven over Elizabeth today by 32 points. YEAH BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great win by the lads. We came out today played 4 quarters of tough hard footy we was great for us. We've been competitive all year and to get our 1st win today was excellent. To have 21 contributers was excellent for us aswell.

Heard Elizabeth rested a couple of their better players, which also helped our cause.

We adjusted to and handled the wet and slippery conditions well, got to the footy first, won it and used it really well. The umpires were again very poor. One in particular was very bad.

Also great win by the C grade that's their first game of the year aswell.

At least he moved from the middle of the ground.
The other Umpire Im sure he was from North Haven must be the laziest umpire going around.
I dont think he moved out the centre all day and gave free kicks from there dont know if he was any better.

heccies out standing better then last year, they are the best team in the comp and there discipline was great, it has turned into a rivalry with us but both teams didnt show it today, with heccies coming out trumps, number 8 howie was good in area's and number 5 ocenwiski sorry about spelling was fit and great and another stand out for 1 reason was wootton with his yellow boot and 1 green boot (last years div 6 medalist). it was hard watching today but looks like an even comp with the havens beating elizabeth today.

We had no one so amateur league gave us his number hes not from us but he is terrible and on the umpiring i am not one to normally say anything but that one umpire, in the A grade, you have to question why he does in fact umpire ,it can only be for the money or a massive power trip as in no way he is concerned about the sport we call football , to say he detracts from the contest is a massive understatement and maybe some umpires should be looked at by the league as seriously this guy should not umpire , harsh but fair the guy has no grip on "footy" reality he gave a yellow card to one of our players for saying " the umpires cant take that goal from us cmon boys "
Seriously that is disgraceful and before we jump to defence as people will it would not have changed result today and i do plan to umpire once i finish playing and purely because we have to have more recent players umpire so we can at least push these amazingly bad umpires down a grade or two .
In the B grade eliz won 5 goals to 1 and played outstandingly well . End of rant.

Good win for Lutho's yesterday.
Blacks kicked first 3 in 5 mins, then we kicked next 7 and were nevr headed from there.
Boys in the middle loved the mud and the General Jenke led the backline.
1 Blacks bloke red carded (spry?) as tensions boiled over late.
Tough-guy in the tracksuit and holding a water bottle gave us a good laugh - abusing blokes...
Not quite as effective when you're a water boy!

Yes, always a pleasure Wouldya, even though my day was shattered the moment I went to say hi to Trevor and he told me that Jimmy wasn't playing.

Soooooooooooooooooo disappointed :( ;) Mind you I would've been the only one at HV that was disappointed  Evened up the game somewhat though..

Apologies for not sticking around after the game for a catchup - my two helpers don't drive so I get to play chauffer :?

Whats going on down at the kennel. Plympton are really struggling by the looks of it. The side on paper is a gun side but the results arent going your way. Whats Symo been saying. I guess Rats, Jimmy and a few boys going overseas didnt help and veenvliet and hibberd getting injured hasnt helped either but you would have the depth to cover them considering the b's have won the last 2 flags. its just strange as you have been in the last 2 prelims and the side you have assembled this year is way better and would push alot of div 4 teams. Its just strange that you havnt got the results the club would be expecting.
