Adelaide Footy League Talk

Postby footballtragic » Sun May 20, 2007 5:33 am

i know hodges and hosie, they work real well together and the most professional untit in
Amateur League as a coaching team. There is no way that Hosie would leave his
great mate to coach in his own right. He just does think he would be a good coach.
simple really. Often speak to them Friday nights at the Lakes Resort and both of
these guys are good guys and pretty honest so no need to not believe them.

Think they want to make Seaton into a good club instead of a club that just
goes up and down between A1 and A2. Wish them luck as no other bugger
has done it, but there again no one ever took Henley to he finals in 2
consecutive years, so anything is possible.

Glad its them and not me with bloody Seaton at the Car Park

I dont think hosie would want to coach on his own as he does not have the pulling power a scott hodges, roger delaney, trent mills, darren mead, the list could go on and on. I think he would be afraid that he wouldnt be able to get any players there let alone assistant coaches of any quality, lets face it why would a scoot hodges leave the head coaching role to be assistant to barry dawson???

Hey footy fan you are right and he knows it - he said that to us. Dont think he is under any illusion that he dont have the
pulling power of one of he greats. By the way he was talking he knows that and just likes being Hodges assistant

Footy Fan - think he was smart enough to see that. he knew he was a no-one in the footy
greats scene and he and hodges just good mates. Dont think he wants the crap that goes
with it and to suggest that Hodges would be his assistant is ridiculous. Hodges is a great of the game
and a great coach - the other guy is just good at his job and Hodges trusts him

How about I just keep it a secret :-$

Its going to be a HUUUUGE day though, We have our Past Players Day this week, so there'll be a massive crowd on the balcony, and hopefully the weather will be good to us...

The Jolly v Jolly show should be a cracker!

Go the PNU's this week, black and whites should keep on marching to their 4th win this week.

hey FC apart from Modbury you have played all the sides above you, do you think you can grab a top 3 position by the end of the minor round?

Hard to say, we havent played Districts yet and our first 3 rounds were shockers to say the least.. if we keep playing to the standard were playing now, who knows? Were happy to take one week at a time...

D Mitchell kicked 11 on weekend, is he that good or were Kilburn that bad. Saw him last year in Div 1 and for his size was very average, maybe a case of good Div 2 player????
