The 2 promoted teams, scotch and PNU number 1 and 2. Does this happen often with promoted teams?

If it were to hold that way until GF day (obviously very doubtful) I can't think of the last time both sides would have gone straight from Div 3 to Div 1.

Does anyone know what the most consecutive seasons for promotion (and who) would be out of curiousity?

From 2000-2004 Woodville South went from Div 5 to Div 1.

Hard to see anyone topping that.

The other interesting minutia is that they went pretty close to reversing that the 5 years after!

Well we never planned on replicating our C grade's accomplishment last season of being undefeated. We would be kidding ourselves if we thought we would go through the season without a loss. Anyhow, premierships are not won in May. As a club, we will keep plugging away and I'm sure we will be there when it counts.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Must have been looking at the wrong score. Great for the A grade to get their first win of the season.

Being that I only really know about PNU, and very little about the rest of div 2, do people agree that the best 2 sides are PNU and Scotch, or is it still too early to tell?

Would you like them to be..... Given they are one and two ...I'd say you have a reasonably solid argument at the moment....:)

Full strength Broadview is very good.

They seem particularly vulnerable to injuries to key players though (as in significantly more than scotch)
