The joys of C and D grade footy.
Any ski trips this weekend?

and before anybody starts on me, it's not an excuse as I expect us to win regardless.

There was no forfeit or any intention of forfeiting now or ever in any grade.
Each team at the Blacks strives for success.

Sorry Tex, everyone's back now. Just got the usual "outs" with injuries as every team does this time of year. Looking forward to the weekend.

Huge game this wkend out at Park 9. IMO whoever wins the game this Saturday will finish in 3rd spot and the lucrative double chance.

With Gepps also forfieting, we now have two weeks off in a row, not a great lead in to finals.

Deffinately disappointing, the D grade have been struggling to get numbers on the park for the last 4 or so weeks, they have called on some old players who have come out of retirement to help, i think last week there was as many as 14. In the C grade we are OK, have a couple of injuries and unavailability this weekend, might have a few more available now that the D grade have had to forfiet. Never good to have to forfiet but I am sure they would have done thier all to get a team out there.

Yeah, thats a bummer, happens though. I know our D's were looking forward to the clash. C's will be a good game though, Park 9 was a mud heap at training, and the rain is still falling. Bring your flippers!

With 9 out in the A's and 8 out in the B's that's almost a full side missing, and that doesn't include C grade players who also have a fair few injuries. Never been in that position before and it's disappointing... Apologies to the PAOC boys...

We were up and about early and lead at each change except the one that counts. Conditions were heavy and prob suited the bigger Grove bodies. The double chance is really up for grabs now.
Well done to the Grovers, another good game against us. There's been a couple of rippers in recent years.
