Surely you're not suggesting the only reason a player of Mark's ilk & quality is playing in div 7 is because of payment? It would have nothing to do with his ties to our coach or the fact it's a nice and local fit for him and his family would it DJ?
Anyone would think Hope Valley were one of the clubs chasing him :) ;)

FWIW Geoff Riddle has an Assistant Coach in Robert O'Gorman.....that is all. We just wanted to announce Polkinghorne's signing so all the rumours and stories about him would stop. We did it for his benefit ;)

if you really think that its ok..i think they left or were asked to leave because of the constant fighting and bitching amongst the players after games...and the nasty incidents on the field..

Forget the rumours & innuendo....Mawson Lakes are pleased to announce the signing of Mark Polkinghorne for season 2011 as the poor bloke doesn't want anymore phone calls  . He will fit in well with our youth policy at the club with the likes of O'Gorman, Reidy and MacDonald already on board ;)

i'm sure Polky will like being put in the "youth policy" group. good pick up for the mozzies [ i might have to follow this mob :D ] a good team and club man and top bloke

Lot of clubs that are local & that are a family clubs, Yes we rang him about his intentions in "2011" because he had connection with Charlie and we would not be doing our job if we didn't. A player of his ability could still be playing in higher division and good luck to you on your pick up. All the things you say are corect, but some money does help.

The last person to get paid at the units Dirty Dog was you back in the under 9's when you use get paid per goal, for all those goals you kicked! Both fowlers left with no problems, the club was dispointed to loose chook after he had done a good job as football director and played a big roll in their last flag, vanderlans did leave with club with there blessing!

Are you talking about the bloke that went from the units to Keniiworth to play the year after the grand final, because he was one of the worst offender's that night..

Reasonable numbers on the track for Parkies (around 30) and a good first up session last night. Everyone was pretty keen, perhaps a bit too keen with plenty of dropped handballs and skewed kicks - in particular from yours truly.

You on track for a round 1 comeback Morell? Will you play any trials?
