im gettin some mixed signals here 1eyed........ They are going to struggle to recruit or dont worry they will pick some up????

They seem to get alot of the sturt underage kids that fall out of favour.
It takes real courage to wear PURPLE!!!!!

Yes that was what I was meaning they will struggle to " recruit " as they dont throw $$ about. But should be ok with the Sturt connection.

Portland had good numbers on the track for new year, about 40
everyone was pretty keen to get out there aswell

Correct, O'Donovan (B&F) off, I heard Arch (capt) and Bolton both gone (retired???). Bourne is the old ruckman, pretty sure he's back, pretty handy apparently.

As for no cash to throw around...surely not...

They always pick up a few anyhow, not sure if the Sturt 'connection' still has an influence though?

a few younger ones even popped out after they had copped a flogging from you ;-)
