.choccies...sorry mate but you are def wrong about gg not being at full strength against modbury in the first round, they had 26 players miss out, so how do you come to the conclusion they wernt at full strength....he picked the side on the basis of playing for top spot and that was the best side he could have had.. fact.....alsothesame ag ttg they were at full strength with a s***t load still missing out.gothebombers wrote:It's all about opinion and discussion. Fair reply. Not sure of your GG source but they weren't at full strength against Modbury at all. Against TTG they may have been close and only lost by 4 goals because Forbes kicked 10. GG weren't at full strength earlier in the year when they beat Modbury at home....

Port boy wrote:gtb just cause you were at gg at the start of the year does not really give you an indication of whats going on. This week six inclusions to the side that can only strengthen it, not saying that because of this we are going to win the flag but these inclusions wont hurt, guys that wernt there at the start of the year but have played plenty of football for the club in all grades in the past, the coach has finally seen the light.

[/quote] im a little confused choccies...you said you never mentioned the first round but later in the post you said gg werent at full strenghth when they beat them at home,,,this is all i was saying that i thought they were.... but as you said the inclusions now may bea lot better than in the first round...only time will tell and at the end of the day ,as long as were all breathing, everyones got to be happy....Choccies wrote:I never mentioned the first round GTB. GG won at Modbury in the first round with a very different side than they have now. In the second round against Modbury they had a few outs too. I'm closer than you think GTB...
Only 10 guys played in round 15 that played in round 6. Just because alot are missing out, doesn't mean they are at full strength does it ?? They have played 56 players this year so I have heard....choccies...sorry mate but you are def wrong about gg not being at full strength against modbury in the first round, they had 26 players miss out, so how do you come to the conclusion they wernt at full strength....he picked the side on the basis of playing for top spot and that was the best side he could have had.. fact.....alsothesame ag ttg they were at full strength with a s***t load still missing out.gothebombers wrote:It's all about opinion and discussion.
