Dropped past Richmond tonight and the oval is in good nick, couple of heavy patches but 80% of the oval is super.

If you don't want to pay to get in you can jump the fence on the outer side if you want. ;)

a great season by WC but i think LFC has lost the monkey and is coming with momentum..vessali v martinello is where the game will be won or lost imo..i think the LFC forwards are quicker younger and more adaptable than WC..they will cause headaches for the WC defence which can be put under the pump..however if nicholls, birch cooper and co are given space and room they will make LFC pay..fantastic clashes in the middle with lowrey#14 the x factor now with great form the past 2 weeks and picking up the slack with corbert playing injured..he will relish the packs and provide brute strength at the crumbs..so a great contest will be seen but i feel the demons are on a high and might just put WC under some real scoreboard pressure and get the chocolates..of course i could be 180 degrees wrong and the hawks blow them away from the start..we will see..best of luck to my old mates from LFC..ranks crammo searley whitey DD simmo TH langdon etc..to many to mention them all..

Ali has played in a Senior premiership recently (@ Portland) and knows what it takes to step up in a GF. There would be a few Hawks playing who were among the West Croydon D7 premiership from a few years ago.

How many of the Dees lads have played in a Senior premiership before? None?

This I think will be the big difference. The composure that comes with experience will guide the Hawks to the win. Everything else is pretty even though.

Haven't seen any Div 6 footy all year so can't go by anything other than gut feel, which tells me Locks by 11 points (hoping thats right).

Good luck to both teams in both grades though.

West Croydon by 10 goals if it is a sunny day.
If it rains, Lockleys would be a chance.
Bigger bodies.

GIFFO - Whoever gave TOS the rights to host a prelimfinal should be shot. Absolute joke, cold food, no facilities, $5 to park your car & the only reason the beer was cold is because it was about 3 degrees anyway.

I am a former TOSFC player who has not played at the club for a couple of years and came back to watch the preliminary final.
Firstly you must remember this is a relatively new ground at a relatively new club that was built up from scratch.
Unlike other established clubs, there is no clubroom because that costs a heap of money that takes years to accumulate.
I am not sure you can make those comments in possibly the worst conditions for football I have ever seen.
Cold food, yes, because it's pretty hard to keep food hot when its freezing, pouring with rain and raining crazily.
If you had gone to the sheltered canteen, there was plenty of hot food.
There is adequate facilities and a lot better than most clubs I played at during my three years with Trinity.
I would have liked to have seen other Div 6 ovals and facilities hold up any better under those conditions.
Giffo, I think you should give it a break. Especially since your club won. Instead of congratulating your team on promotion you have a crack at the club you beat.
Just like the Lockleys supporters on the weekend who were too worried about how Trinity wouldn't be going up rather than the fact their team
was going to be elevated. Typical SAAFL attitude.
While I enjoyed playing with my mates at Trinity after playing in country footy leagues such as the Riverland and Barossa, where there is clean footy, I won't be going back to the low divisions of the SAAFL too quickly.
