The latest player leaving with the deal done is Josh Moody to Hamley Bridge.
Travis Natt is one player Hamley Bridge will give the DCNY apparently, freeing up the coin needed to sign Josh.

think portland might be getting a ruckman back who now has a premiership medal..he will have to be replaced quickly by the team he leaves from..

I think your club Portland has plenty of $$$ & need to let the moths out but in a responsible way, outragous money for D3 footballers is rediculous but when you continue to pay peanuts you know what you get.
From what i've seen at your club you blokes support it very well & must be banking some good cash, an extra 10-15K withdrawal a year to share around would help top your side up nicely & i have know doubt you'd be knocking on the door of Div2.

Not sure where you are getting your info from NM, but Portland dont have dollars to throw around. Things are being put in place though, to enable us to spend a little and keep it sustainable. Once you start spending the cash, you need to keep at it or else you tumble back down the grades. The club has a solid base to work on - the extra $10-15k you mentioned can easily be raised each year, with a little extra work. Portland's in good shape - hasnt happened by fluke though.

Wiles will be hard to replace (if he leaves) but im sure the new coach and staff are getting things on track for 2011. Players leave and life moves on. Wilsey is gun though, and a champion bloke.
Vessali would not be a 'prize' recruit for us, but him and Perkins would be a very, very good ruck combo - more than capable, going by this years standards.
