Got to give some credit to Groover who did his pec muscle in his shoulder before half time and played the game out

What happened to #42 (Proctor?), saw his arm in a sling?

I saw Aldridge, that collision happened right in front of me.

Bad luck to Proctor though to do it so late in the game. He was very good in the 1st half i thought as a rebounding defender when HV were mounting many attacking plays forward.

Spoke to the physio last night, ended up being an SC (sternum/clavical) joint injury, would have missed this week if we had a game.

just had another look at the TOTY,found it interesting that the full back and pack pocket are from teams that got flogged almost everyweek, bit weird imo

So a full back and back pocket are responsible every week for a teams loss?

The players you speak of being Hill and Viney were very consistent for their respective teams and deserved their spots. Just because their teams got beaten regularly doesnt mean they were.

TOTY is about trying to be as fair as possible by including representation from every club and i believe the selectors have done this.

not saying they are personally responsible but you'd think they would have had their fair share of goals kicked on them you would of thought being beaten most weeks, and whats the point of having a team of the year if your not going to pick the best players for each position, pointless

Bit strange vines is in a pocket though. While he was in rosies best 3 footballers this year and has always been good for them he didn't play one game in the backline. His always been a midfielder. Rosies should of only had taheny in TOTY IMO.

All those who are whinging about the TOTY, the All Australian selectors get it wrong every year, so can't expect some amateur league writers and footy players/observers to get every position correct. There will always be people who think X should have been there, or Y shouldnt have been there. Not a bad side IMO.

As you maybe well aware now I have stepped down as Club coach of the Hope Valley Football Club after 6 enjoyable seasons.Whilst not being able to deliver the long overdue premiership to the Club,I would like to thank the Committee, supporters, support staff and most of all the players for the support they have given me whilst in charge.Whilst the massive hole, not coaching will leave in my life I will continue on in helping the club any way I can.

To all the opposition Clubs we have been involved against, thank you for the spirit in which the games were played. Good to meet so many people over the journey and that is the beauty of being involved in footy.

So happy the Club has progressed 2 divisions whilst in charge, as that is some reward for all the hard work from a lot of people.

GOOD POST =D> I believe a lot of the games in this division were not televised as well ;) Last year Alex Stengle didnt make any teams of the year and had to be a late insertion after he won the Div 1 medal from playing 9 games. His Coach nor the opposition coaches thought to include him. No-one can get a team of the year perfect its a subjective process that will never be perfect.

Congratulations to Brahma Lodge Football Club they were deserving winners of Div 5 this season. If they can keep there squad together i have no doubt they will be competitive in Div 4.

Also well done to whoever picked the TOTY majority of the players were the standouts from what i seen this year. There will always be the hard luck story and debate but the team picked are all deserving.
