Seaton definitely, think about it ...if you kicked a ball at the changeroom end and it kept travelling, it would hit aami stadium. That's west!

Lindblom definitely north south.

I've just never had any issues seeing the footy at Seaton, felt like I've spent more time looking into the sun at Pooraka. I would've thought Linblom runs parallel with Montague Road?

Lindblom definitely runs North South while Seaton runs North-East South-West.

In the middle of winter the sun is much further north, so you are more likely to get sun in your eyes while standing at the southern end of a North South ground than you are standing at the eastern end of a East West ground. This is certainly the case at Lindblom Park and Rowe Park which both run North-South. The worst layout is NNW - SSE, which is how Etihad Stadium is laid out and why there are arguments over whether they should close the roof on a sunny day.

Seaton is SW/NE.

It's the worst ground in the world to bat on when your strength is through cover/mid-off.

Y'all realise that Cardinal Directions are measured in degrees right? Ovals are not oriented just one way or another...

The vernacular everyone is using "North, South, East and West" are known as Carindal directions - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardinal_direction

The directional names are also routinely and very conveniently associated with the degrees of rotation in the unit circle:

North (N): 0° = 360°
East (E): 90°
South (S): 180°
West (W): 270°

In other words, you're all being imprecise with both your language and measurements. :D
