Willie is going great guns, good kid too, he's a 3rd or 4th generation Williams playing at the club, so a bit of history there too.

Macca's "career ending calf" was a false alarm and he played on the weekend.

macca's stats normally are 30 handpasses, 5 kicks, 4 goals, he can still play on one leg and be a good team leader

Surprise loss for Modbury considering they beat Seaton. Maybe getting a little ahead of themsleves. Seaton obviously took it to heart. Poor old Kilburn.

Heard from a few sources that Petruno was sparkling with 10 goals for SEATON, big marks and long goals too. Those blokes bagging paul marshall can take a back seat he run a muck kicking 5. Casey Thomas was lance franklin like at CHF.

Anyone think Luke hosy will ever coach by himself anywhere, the Barry Dawson look alike thinks he can coach but i don't think he really knows what end of the coaching board he would be looking at.... Stick to the adult movies hosy....

Hopefully they get thier act together and stay up next time. Instead of the yo-yo action of the last 4 -5 years. Edwardstown and Uni to go down from Div 1 this year.

Great to see you back Cruzn, where you playing this year, i see your mates at Seaton are going oK, and the boys that went to Districts seem to be going ok also. It will be an interesting day in september if they match up for the grand final as everyone is predicting.

Another old seaton boy Steven coffee is doing well out at the raggies, must be dominating, in the best every week!!

Saw Pt Dist play seaton on anzac day and they were ok but how are they smashing sides by plenty - recently Phos and scotch??

How did Phos beat Modbury but at the same time loose to districts by plenty?? saw Modbury play Seaton and they where fierce and a well drilled unit, then Phos come out and beat them????

Woodville South out of relegation ranking after their round 1 demise. Thats good to see. :) :)

this weeks coming games, on the radio this morning they said that Div 2 was a close competion, what are your thoughts?

The Seaton v Phos may be close but i would predict 7-10 goals in favour of Seaton,

Paynem v Scotch paynem by 6-7 goals

Districts v Pembroke Districts by over 10 goals,

Modbury v Kilburn seen though Modbury beat Seaton by 7 goals and seaton beat kilburn by 30 the margin here could be 40 goals,

Lastly SHOC v Woodville Shoc by 10 goals,

How can you call the competeion close??

Modbury will be pushed this week by Kilburn. Just a bit of inside info from both clubs. No comment until Monday.

And PHOS beat Modbury by 5 goals at Modbury. Is logic selective?

I think the show on 5RPH this morning about Div 2 being close was that after Pt Districts teams from 2 - 6 there is not a lot between them.

Pretty fair call and I wouldn't look at 5 goal margins being much as that can just be a side that gets a run on. There will be a lot of results that are difficult to understand by the end of the year.

not sure about your predictions footyfan

seaton v phos will be a lot closer & could go either way
agree pnu over scotch by 6 - 7 gls
districts by 10+ over pembroke
modbury just over kilburn (who I think will start to trouble sides now on)
and lastly I think woodville by 4-5 goals over SHOC

have seen Hosie as assistant coach at Kilburn, Henley and Seaton plus at Port Magpies under Matt knights. He does not want to coach as he does not think he would make a good coach. Reckon he is being honest with me. Sure as hell from what ive seen of his work he wont be without a job as he is the best assistant in amateur league
