LK is spot on.

People see the weaker sides in the SFL get pumped by 40 goals and think they must be absolutely terrible, but you have to keep in mind the quality of the opposition at the top end in the SFL. It's the equivalent of a side like Mawson Lakes or Lockleys playing Goodwood or Henley's A's. They'd get pumped by similar margins I'd suspect.

Comparing abilities between teams within a specific competition hardly relevant in this instance M....Measuring the strength of one comp to another is more difficult to access as pointed out.

Taking only the best players from the entire SFL competition would perhaps see them matching it with SAAFL'S Division One sides, and as well as giving our Rep teams a run for their money. However there is subjective viewpoint that even the stronger SFL Club sides maybe more comparable to only Divvy 3 and some Div 2 sides within SAAFL. The last 7 odd times the two leagues have clashed SAAFL leads 5-2 in the head to head count. Furthermore, most of SAAFL's wins have been with an U/23's squad whilst the SFL had no such limitations which would add further weight to that viewpoint.

such a vast difference between SFLs top teams & bottom teams its a wonder why the SFL wouldnt go to 2 divisions and by copying the SAAFLs brilliant model of equality, by filling the new second divisions vacancies with cgrade sides?

Sorry guys and gals was just saying who we are having trials with, TRIALS. They have recruited well under their new coach Ross Brokensha and we are keen to have a competitive hit out. They will have players out and so will we. Who gives a fat rats tossbag about the difference of level. The fact is they were kind enough to say yes.

Turn it up. Yank Man mentioned the Lonsdale game, Rob Stark the headless git said that should be a interesting game, I then said inb4 it will be a nil all draw then norm said Mitchell Park by 10 goal. How could anyone think he was talking about the aforementioned ML game!?!

The sheer absurdity of suggesting you would beat Lonsdale by 10 goals is why I knew he was referring to ML.
