End of Jan they resume, i believe a few boys have been recruited, they showed up 1st session but i didnt make it to any of the other sessions after that due to other commitments so i dont know how they look. Couple of the lads look like they will add some much needed height to the side though, especially with the loss of Josh Hawkesworth this year.

Whats Joshy doing? Maybe Elij has grown 4 foot in the off season to fill big bro's roll.

Back into his band committments. Dont think Eli needs to fill his role, have a feeling he is going break out and really make people notice him this season and earn his own respect/reputation off a back flank.

Also although may not seem like it, he is only a few inches shorter than Josh already

Look back at a few pages and it was said that the mozzies had beaten a club from down near Victor to gain his services. That was in late November or early December when they were all chasing him.
Enough of the riddles it is Goolwa or at least was the other main club in contention for a fair while now

If it is Goolwa does Steve O'Connor still think that every club that he coaches every man and his dog will come join him. The guy is getting a reputation like Simon Johnson and Shane Mitchell in racking up as many clubs as he can. Problem is O'Connor is still hanging his hat on taking a 'Cashed Up' Barossa Districts to the flag some years ago.

Certainly not. When Occer walked away from Kilburn he's had some time off and hasn't gone searching out other clubs. He was approached and he really had a good hard think about it as he wasn't sure whether he wanted the commitment.

Good luck to him this year.

Could be an interesting year at Wingfield with all the "new boys" on deck. Bet there's a club out north that's very happy about the mass move.

Thats just what Wingfield need.

Should be competitive throughout the year from what I have heard. And yes I also have heard that there are some very handy players that have signed up. Good luck to them but we all know that Glenunga will be the team to watch ;)

Forget the rumours & innuendo....Mawson Lakes are pleased to announce the signing of Mark Polkinghorne for season 2011 as the poor bloke doesn't want anymore phone calls  . He will fit in well with our youth policy at the club with the likes of O'Gorman, Reidy and MacDonald already on board ;)

Cant wait to meet the bloke as ive heard good things about him. Cant wait for February 1 so we can get into training.

Will Wingfield be in Div 7 this year as we use to have some good battles against them years ago.

Have heard he is not the sort of bloke you want at your club from a fair few people

So have I bud. His absence is the reason the Units were unable to win the GF though, just ask him :)

Bobridge ain't going anywhere anytime soon. He'll be at the Units this season.

Glenunga has to be the shortest priced favs for a div 7 flag since Colonel Light Gardens a couple years ago and these are only the recruits we know about  .
