On saturdays game, Old iggies, like others have said were just to good, they used there big bodies and experience, was a credit to them how well they played in the conditions.
If the weather is like it was saturday then Old Iggies are definately a chance to beat PAOC!
Was rather embarrassed with the boys efforts in the last quarter on saturday, we had lost the game and there was a scuffle. Not the right way to go about it IMO.
Apart from that, they never gave up and condisdering where we were in round 7 this year, its a true testiment to the boys to turn it around and finish the season in 3rd place!

On a complete side note, Seen Devries down our neck of the wood saturday night. Never met him or spoke to him before sat night and he was a good lad. Also, how ******* big is he!!! I knew he was tall but he was a monster in person!

Im sure that made his night. Speaking to clowns like yourself about div3 footy. Do you blokes do anything else but talk about this sort of sh"t. Aren't you supposed to be on mad monday. Get a life mate its div3. Better still get a sex life!!!

Surprised I didn't see you out at Alberton jimmy....

A bit soft underfoot which is no surprise considering the rain but PLENTY of space and green green grass !!!! :-bd

Sorry about the dodgy pic.... Blackberry's dont have the best cameras....

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

That spot to the left between FF and CHF is the only dodgy area but its still mainly a sandy loam area so should come up OK

The only embarrassing part of that scuffle was the cheap shot delivered by a bloke who ran a fair distance to get himself involved. He was duly red carded, so I'm sure that will be dealt with by the tribunal. Apart from that, I thought it was just a bit of push and shove, and couldn't even see what caused the other red card to be shown. Perhaps the timing of it wasn't great, being 10 goals down at that stage.

Was very impressed with the Portland coaches after the game. It must be very difficult to front in the opposition changerooms after a prelim final loss like that, but they both spoke very well. Classy act IMO.

surprised no one from iggies was even yellow carded. those sort of incidents are never one sided as piccachu says. no matter how much anyone cries foul.
and on what the umpy said well...... typical isnt it.

If the umpires not sure as to what happened it should be thrown out.
Maybe Seaton should ask the League if Bruce Barnes from Seaton can be relieved of his suspension & play this weeks Grand Final.
I don't see why not as the League seem to have a variety of different rules for different clubs.

in a way i see your point NM, if the umpy saw somthing warranting a straight red then surely they can explain what happened to the panel. seems a bit convienent that "oh im not sure what happened" either way doesnt really effect portland they never win the first 3 of the year anyway.

think you might be taking the piss on the barnes thing though NM he obviously did enough to get 12 so probably deserves some time off.
