If we don't get too much more rain should be ok come Saturday. Only boggy in a couple of patches.

Pretty entertaining medal count. Delawyer (Kenilworth) 2nd by a single vote and Boothey (Paralowie) 3rd not much further behind. Must say I was shaking my head when Ingle Farm get rolled by West Croydon by close to 100 points BUT still had the 2 highest vote getters on the ground??

Doesn't inspire confidence in our orange friends does it. In that game West Croydon had a player sent off in the last qtr for giving one of the umps a bit of lip, but surely that wouldn't cloud their judgement......but then again. Are all the votes for each game published somewhere?

I think you will find Boothy was equal runner up. They both lost by 1 vote. Boothy missed 6 or 7 games as well.

think you'll find all the top 3 or 4 missed at least 3-4 games each. Works out pretty even.

have gone for a different kind of team and my x factor is loffler who i think is the heart and soul of wc,like having another coach on the ground
know stubby is not the captain of wc but he is my type of leader

big call no boothey in ya side deeman he'd nearly be my first picked and not just cause his my mate his nearly the best player in the comp by a long way IMO

normally he would be in my sides as you are aware i have nothing but the highest regard for him but he has missed games and unfortunately the season the roos have had he is found guilty by assosiation
but i do fully agree with you, just not this year

DeeMan, i think you will find Boothy has only missed 2 games and that was from snapping his three front teeth in half on a players head going for a hard ball. I have watched most of there games this year and he is having a great season, just not enough cattle around him

New bloke you say he only missed 2 games when fighting for him in team of the year now say 6 or 7 to say he's unlucky not to win the medal

Bah, it's a joke. A bloke kicks ten goals, we win the game by ten goals and they give BOG to an opposition player - and that's just one example

Congratulations to Corbett on winning medal. Didn't have the pleasure of seeing him play this year because he missed both games against Ingle Farm....and as a result probably missed out on a few votes. I notice he was most people's pick, so obviously well deserved
