Is Campbelltown a big/small oval? Does it get very muddy? I've never played footy there, only ever watched cricket at Campbelltown and it was a great surface, that was the middle of summer though.

It's a big oval. Will suit NH. Depends on how much rain we get during the week. Should be ok if the rain holds off. Drove past in on saturday and it it didn't look too bad (from the road anyway)

There are no ovals on Prospect Road.. there's only Kilburn which is on Lionel Avenue and Prospect Oval which is Willcox Avenue (or thereabouts ;) )

Doesn't take much rain to turn into a dung heap, it has been the boggiest ground I've ever played on in the past, my boot kept coming off and there were hardly any kicks that travelled more than 25 metres.
The whole oval was like it.

Blair Athol Reserve (Kilburn)

B Grade 12:15
Adelaide Lutheran V North Haven

A Grade 14:15
Adelaide Lutherna V Kenilworth

A good sized oval, normally holds up pretty well around the ground, but the middle can get pretty slippery with rain. With the weather this week I would expect it to be in pretty good condition come Saturday. B Grade game should be a cracker. Luthies in the A's (if dry) will win quite comfortably 60+ for mine.
They are straight to their word, they don't talk a lot of smoke and mirrors behind windows.

Finals make up approx 10% of the SAAFL income and as a result this has been one of the reason why cost to clubs have not risen in over the last 7 years - or at least thats what someone told me ;)

Entry fee's are good, they are a deterrent for dickheads to just rock up and be dickheads.

I agree with you there LM but I do think prices are a little excessive. $8 to watch the D7 Elimination Final on the weekend did turn away a couple of our regulars who come to watch each weekend for something to do. Funny thing is most of the dickheads who rock up to finals and be dickheads come from clubs who have already finished their seasons not from clubs participating in the game

I agree that grand finals should be charged but not neutral finals.

Has it downside I guess, I just notice the difference in spectators in the country leagues where people are less inclined to make idiots of themselves because they spent money to get in opposed to the Saturday afternoon at the local oval with a few mates and a full esky.
