Great win by the Lodge on the weekend, pity that form wasnt shown against the lesser teams in the comp..

Oh well, hopefully we can continue to change the top 5 and close relegation door at the same time!

Will Houghten continue to rest players??

Umpires were nothing special, 2 sent off for nothing, numerous 25m penalties!

Afternoon all - long time listener, first time caller.

I'm not impuning your opinion here Scout, but notice that you've questioned Quichey putting up Tregeagle?

I know your brother, (factor), knows a couple of Westminster lads, just wondering how much you have seen of the teams in the Div?

Geezus!!! That looks like a bloody nightmare Quichey, seems you know all the same names as me. Who are the rest of the dedicated and sturdy backmen who get these jobs each week??? As a backman I have no idea who's down the other end of the ground....

What forward line would you pick?

Hooper would be in defence. Possibly Voyzey, although light-framed. Yourself. Davila from Heccies perhaps.

I reckon picking onballers and wings would be the toughest job.

I coached him and i wouldnt have Tregeagle in there.

demonseye...dont know the first name but i reckon you would have seen him..absolute tosser and blows his whistle if you look sideways at him..likes to be a part of the game and influence the outcome..something a good umpire should not be doing

23/23 : thats what i mean..25m and 50m penalties all day..and i bet the 2 sent off did nothing

Who's the small forward that gets the gig then, has to be a gamebreaker. Small forwards haven't been much of a feature this year in Div 6.

Pretty sure i know the one. When i was at West Croydon we had him up at Trinity. We were crucified in the 1st half but were only a goal or 2 down at halftime. After that the boys were a bit undisciplined through frustration and the game got away from us. Just before halftime a goal wasnt awarded to Wc on the siren (i didnt think it should have been either) and a few words were spoken between players and umpire then in his wisdom decided to yellow card Matty Loffler for trying to show some control in the situation. It was Mattys 1st and only yellow in 250 games and he was quite upset by it. Anyway West Croydon were beaten by a Trinity who played better footy after halftime and deserved to win. I made a phonecall on the monday to the Umpiring Director and he said he has heard similar situations from other clubs complaining. Worst umpire i have come across.

Im thinking Warburton or Dylan Lockwood from West Croydon, can definately play the game and his 1st ten yards are very quick. Does struggle with fitness towards the end of games though.

I was going to have a shot, but when i looked up and saw NO trinity players anywhere near Luke, I had to pass it to him...

I hope such a self-less act was duly rewarded

Barta gave him how many? Gee, his leg must have pulled up splendidly then :D

Yeah pulled up pretty good FC. Still a bit sore now but got through the game okay. Cheers again for the treatment.

i said that on div 5 thread lol but i will reply here..i do rate them but was dissapointed with their loss to heccies 2 weeks ago

i think the youth of lockleys is dangerous and clg play well as a team with youth as well..wos are good but might not be as hungry as others..and i think valleys are going real fine..with b grade depth if they get injuries

I cant really disagree with any of that. I think Lockleys and finals pressure could be a real test for them because of their youth. I will be honest and say that Hope Valley have surprised me a little since i have been there, they have quite a few more than handy players about the place and have the right attitudes towards training etc. and i think the win at CLG certainly sent a message to a few sides. I reckon Heccies will struggle finals time and Conway could be the difference upforward for WOS. Will be a very open finals series, but for the 1st from me Go the Valleys!

WOS seem to faulter when playing top teams....But I think IF they get a full team out there will be hard to stop...CLG easily the team to beat then the other 4....

No, not a shock (you shouldn't take smileys so literally) ,the penny dropped, only I'd just twigged onto what game you were talking about, that's all.

Sorry to harp on this Scout, I know it looks like I'm giving you a heavy tag here, but I didn't see an answer from you yet to my question before.

I know you've previously said your brother Factor has mates at WOS, but how much do you have to do with them?
