You're about 8 weeks too late, you can get in some practice for next year though

Ah, I can still provide insight - D. Hanley (AKA Uncle Hammer) is my sentimental favourite for the Smithfield B&F. What a stellar player he is.

He played in Pirie this year to see of a mate who had one last season coaching. Believe he was sick of the travel by the end of it and ended up training with us at the end of the year. Was on the blower to the lads come final siren time and very excited.

Well known his body is not its best but hopefully without a cricket season, a full preseason under our master trainer will have him up and going.

Forward line of Scudds, Parrish, Ravlich, Simmons & Hoklas with Todd Shepphard (fingers crossed) and Jimmy K changing in and out looks ominous already.

what about some room for the big 37....

Chaddy Parrish trained with us for a lot of the year, has a couple of very good long-time mates at the club...

Congrats to GG on the premiership, it was a good game, I thought both teams didnt play that well, typical Grand Final presure. GG were in front at the right time so very well done, both teams played as hard as they could right to the last siren, the diffence between chocolates and boiled lollies... thats why we love this game so much.

Bad form for a couple of posters suggesting Greenies went the biff, didnt see it myself and I am not being byas, just enjoy the victory and be gracious "football is a contact sport"... and for the record I seen the incident when Scudds hit the fence, he was tackled across the line and honestly rolled into the fence, he done well to get up and play on. There was no malice intended just a good hard legal tackle, no one could throw the big fella anywhere.

Well done to the umpires, I thought they were quite good and didnt influence the game either way.

I printed this off #37.... I'll send it to you to keep and remind you....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Hopefully that is the case... with a few players to come back next year we should be looking at being a contender.

Definatley you seem to have a solid forward line and can cover Scudds if he does leave.... it really isnt much harder untill you hit div 2 and then its a massive jump from div 3.
