Mitcham to upset Portland - 4 goals - Hawks to end Portlands finals Campaign. To be even in the first half, but the Hawks to break away in the 2nd with the div1 standard ball movement and hard running.
PAOC over Iggies - 5 goals - OI didn't play 4 quarters of footy last week, and if they cant put four quarters together against PAC, they cant win
B's
Mitcham over SMOSH - 1 goals - down to the wire, but Mitcham B's havent lost at the 'Thunderdome' for a long time now and should continue the good form from last weeks second half.
PAOC over Seaton - 3 goals - Seaton in good form, but cant see them stopping Pacs midfield
C's
Mitcham over Para Hills - 5 goals - If Elton can kick straight this week, the Hawks should get through. They dispayed a good brand of footy on Sunday comfortably accounting for SMOSH all over the ground.
PAC over Seaton - 6 goals - PAC simply too good
Good weekends for Mitcham and PAC!!!
Dont be scared to pump yourself up a bit Hardy![]()
If our Div 1 ball movement doesn't win it for us, it will be our "highly intelligent coach" that does: http://saafl.asn.au/footy-news/166

PAC: Rocky has the Princes firing in all 8 cylinders. Would have a gameplan drilled into them. They will always dish the handball out backwards. Watch for the seagull who will run past the contest and into space. Someone will need to play a defensive role on DeVries take him to areas that wont be dangerous. Wouldnt Peddler v DeVries b fantastic to watch. Would justify the $8. The space they created in their own fwd 50 was great and a big key. Seemed to play the HFF right up the ground to isolate key fwds. No one can go a shoot out with these blokes will take a very negative (defensively) combined with a lot of physical pressure. Tag up on the wings and get men behind the ball running forward. Chip chip till u find an opening must be patient bomb it forward and they will cut you up with a counter attack. Control the ball control the game.
Iggies: These guys match up best against PAC because of the hard strong bodies in and around the ball. Captain coach Peddler: teams could use this against them and get him really puffing and mind off the game. Put as much physical pressure on him as possible. In saying that im sure he can handle it quality player. Their ruck seemed a weak point but all he needs to do is hold his own because the on ballers will clean the rest up.
Portland: Perkins would have to be the best ruckman in the Div giving his team first look. They will attack the corridor. Chip inside play on then pump the ball long. Which is what they need to do with a small fwd line. This gives their fwds a chance. Portland are very skilful and quick and backed themselves in to hit the target with the short kick. They loved the switch on the counter attack and would look for it and use it at every chance they had. Seemed to create a loose man through the middle of the ground with middie rotations. They used their bench the most ive seen by a club all year.
Mitcham: Played a loose man in def all day against us. Will also attack the middle of the ground and play on at every chance. One thing i couldnt believe when watching them was how many blokes were kicking around the corner instead of straightening up. Seemed really keen to get the party tricks going and when they do the crowd gets into and u know ur in trouble. Ellis is the goto man through the middle with CardiganHow they start at centre bounces wont b how they match up on the field they went to great lengths to create a loose man through the middle.
Old Iggs to win the GF against PAC by 15pts.

Good game and good on Portland winning and deserved it probably on the day. All of us were there and none of us could be believe the Umpiring at all. Beyond belief would be a good term. Neither one side or the other, but just horrendous over 4 quarters. A good game destroyed by 2 insipid performances from the maggots, who are just not up to umpiring at this level. The SAAFL should take responsibility for the crap we saw today, but you can bet they wont![]()
