Hes alright, that guy asked 4 it:D . Hows that dude that Dave Ellis KOed? Best hit i have ever seen in my 7 years of footy. Fair and square 2. Ouch!

I told ya about the B grade didnt I :lol: We would have won by 30 goals in the dry!

it was a decent hit and fair i have to say. he went to flinders medical to make sure everything was ok and was back at the club in a few hours

The B grade played, but aparantly when the league umpires came out for the A Grade game they deemed the ground conditions 'unplayable'.

if that is the case what a joke we played a grand final at pay. norwood union's oval a few years back that was ankle deep in mud at every part of the oval may well just be the saafl doing as they please yet again .

heard a whisper that the hard wicket area is only covered by carpet and the umpires deemed that it was unsafe to play considering the conditions. if that true i don't blame the umpires. didn't the saafl change venues due to ground conditions in the 1st two rounds.

only thanks to the good will of clubs like st pauls doing the right thing and putting there hand and saying something about it

Amazing isn't it - one week a club's changing grounds cos it's too dry. Then another a match is abandoned due to unsafe conditions...

Question is though, why was it unsafe for one game and not the other?

The mud was half way up your leg when we ran out and you kicked the ball and it stopped dead. Only highlight of the game was bruce running thru the crowd and the police cars around the oval at the end for some reason!
