You could have easily scored a rushed behind for the percentage boost, you could have started going the man after getting your 40 goal lead and you didn't have to offer us beer after the game.

I thought the game was played in good spirits and I hope the birthday boy ended up having a great day.. Poor lad had 13 people trying to stop him from scoring.

I've read some odd things on this site in the past, but this would be the oddest.
lol beat me to it. Think aussiebogan is thinking of juniors where if a side doesnt register a score it only becomes a 10 goal win I think, but this is seniors and no mercy rule here!

Ohh this isn't the case? My mistake I have had a few different people tell me about the 10 goal rule, so I just assumed they knew what they were talking about.

Seems this thinking is common at Para Hills. Filled in for the C's one week a few years ago after playing B grade and at the start of the last quarter we still hadn't scored. Somehow the midfield got it out of the middle and a Para Hills bloke took the grab and booted it towards our goals.

I was standing at Fullback looking at the Para Hills full forward and we were both wondering what the hell was going on

wristwatcher, have you recovered from that sickening falcon on the weekend.. such was the impact the blow could be heard from the sidelines..

Perhaps use your hands instead of your face next time you go for a mark?

On the game though, thanks for the tough battle, was the most physical game our lads have endured this year and the way your side came out firing in the 1st quarter was really the difference IMO and we were playing catch up from then on.

Some valuable lessons learnt for some of our younger lads, and able to see first hand the importance of some of the stuff we have been working on i.e voice, physical presence, strong hands etc.

Look forward to the return bout - hopefully we can play 4 quarters not 2 next time :)

From the amount of messages, texts and calls it was the falcon heard around the SAAFL. Its seldom a Player jumps at full tilt into a 50 metre falcon from a typical left footed flat punt. For the record i was actually attempting to spoil at the time so therefore in my own semi spastic way achieved my goal ;)

It was a good tough game with no easy kicks to be found. I felt we might have been a little more damaging in our spread and ball use on the turn overs. Our forwards also as you mentioned got good score board pressure early with accurate first half conversion. Good hard game though and good to see your lads up in our club rooms after the game. Looking forward to the return clash at your home ground at the... :D "Pleasure dome"

That combined with the 294 point demolition last week leads me to believe that Para Hills will be very keen to bounce back against their arch rivals. I heard they only had 15 which makes it real tough but full respect to them for not pulling the pin and taking the forfeit loss. =D>
Due to the fact i have had dinner at Para Hills and the entire Knowles clan was there as well leads me to believe your anticipated hype may not be as vicious and malicious as some might think.
Tough call though tonight. Pies v Swans at the Tavern or Hills v Farms at the Paddocks :D

Depends who's Cummins. Might have to sneak up the Lane with lump of Wood. It's our last Bastian of hope.

Dont know about arch rivals, its been a long time since Ingle Farm have been in our league. Even when they were they couldnt blow wind up our arse. Good to see they are finally trying to get out of the lower leagues.

Come on Fred. We are a couple of Km's apart, Last time we met in a division there was a few IF people that were at PH, and now we meet again and we have had nearly 20 clearances from PH to IF in the last 2 seasons. I'd say thats a bit of a rivalary right there, wouldn't you. ;)
