Injured Reserve list out for the season from the Great Man himself.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Ive heard that they will have to sell all the pokies just to stay afloat.

Nah that's definitely not the case. So not sure who you heard that from Brayman.
We found it tough this year, that's for sure. But record sponsorship and some very generous life members has covered off a large part of the loss in revenue.
Gaza off field next year will be stronger than ever with what is being put in place let me assure you.
So nah, we're all fine down at Gaza park people....

Well, that's good news. Div1 needs a strong Gaza.

Just like it needed a strong Semaphore Centrals, Teachers College, Rosewater, West Croydon, Glenunga, Payneham, Kilburn, Greek.........

Can anyone tell me if Dempsey still runs around for Goodwood? Handy little player for what I can remember?

BOP, did you avoid making any comment about the $40K handout from the council intentionally or was that just an oversight? With record sponsorship and life member donations, it seems strange that this money wasn't enough to keep you trading or did all of this go to the players payment fund?

I've heard the coach is disliked by some of the senior players triggering a bit of an exodus?? Any truth in that?

I like him :D and I know for a fact that the players liked him in September last year when they won a premiership. 8) I know the Div 1 forum is boring but really that's a bit of a troll like statement. Every Coach at every club would have at least one group that don't like him or his language or his beard or his brother or his presentation or his half time address or they don't like something. I have been around Gaza for the last ten years and no doubt some blokes might have an issue and need a tissue but It appears to me he has plenty of support. He just may not have as big a cheque book as some of our friends past Tailem Bend  ;)

Ok cowboy. A few points to cover off with this.
Firstly, it's good to see that in all that time I was overseas on holidays, the same morons are posting the same ridiculous comments about our club.
Secondly, when I made that post, the handout had not even been discussed with the council which is why it wasn't mentioned.
Thirdly, the money given by the council was not something that was going to make or break the club. The money was given because our revenue was greatly affected by the works being done and the delays that were caused. And the council realised this and decided the come to the party and generously help us out.
As for the player fund, we'll our pockets have never been as deep as a lot of other clubs (and many other div 1 clubs are having this same problem also), and it is just the way things go in terms of losing players to country clubs. But we have replaced all that we have lost, so we are happy. The rest is just crap that people decide to post on here.

Can you tell me caramels what club you are from.?

And what's goin on biggsy? You still coming to terms with Grainger coaching the side that pumped you boys in consecutive grand finals?
You boys have won a few in a row, apart from this year. So no need to get upset. It's ok to share.

A bit defensive there BOP, even for someone who has been to another club for a stint and then returned hoping to become the prodigal son, maybe in the new year you'll feel better about yourself. BTW, not a cowboy but can ride a horse and just passing a comment on what was told to me by someone that should know.
Sorry if it hurt your feelings, precious!  :P :prayer:

ohhhh so you were just passing on a comment were you? might want to look at how you write things in the future then as you didn't quite get the tone across if that's what you were just doing.
not too sure what me going to another club has to do with anything? and me hoping to be the prodigal son. not sure what that one is about either?
and when someone that has no idea gets on and starts slagging my club, am i not suppose to say anything back in order to set the record straight???
and thank you for your apology. it means the world to me.

Mick Nunan once said that in his team he had 14 players who liked him(the coach) and 7 that probably didnt, therefore keep the 7 away from the 14 as much as possible

I'm missing footy season. Are there any trial games confirmed at this stage?
