My thoughts exactly mate. Was a great game. Was dissapointed with how the game was officiated thouhg. The bloke with the beard was fair but the one wioth the hat (supposed director of umpiring) was less than desired. Never protected the bloke over the footy for both teams. Now when one of my lads was pushed into the fence by No10 i think it was nothing was done about it and ofcourse my lads went to his defence. The ump had no control and it turned ugly. When we asked if the retaliator (my lad) and No10 he would not anmswer and yelled at me saying you hould know the rules what do you think the answer is? WTF! He then yelled he can be reoplaced now learn the rules.
Apart from that it was just teh normal dust up but nothing crazy. I did laugh when No10 & 2 tried to take on my ruck man. My ruckmen is basically 7 foot 200kgs of pure get out of my way. Funny stuff.
GG certainly dont deserve to be going back to Div 4 (well tehir C Grade anyway) best bunch of blokes ive had the pleasure of playing with/against EVER. It was great to finally meet ya Choc and have that beer. You blokes have bveen the only ones that have hung around and had beers with us. Best of luck next year boys and we'll see ya soon.

I thought the bearded guy was off his rocker.... Paid a clear mark to our guy to your bloke and then proceeded to even it up later by paying a free against Fisty from 3 thousand miles away for a tackle to the stomach that was fair as it comes !! Anyway, didn't make any difference to the score, we were out played. Don't knock our number 10 too much cos for a young bloke he had a real crack all day and was easily our best. Yeah we were going to come in sooner and sit thru your presso's but we had a couple of cans left in the esky that had no friends so we helped them out ;)

i forgot all about this, they were 2 horrible decissions, fisty tackled the bloke front on and was called for a push in the back, was very surprised as to the standard the game was played at, i have watched a fair bit of C grade footy this year and the standard of the weekends final was far and away better than any C3 game i have watched this year, #24 for G&G was by a long way there best player and am very surprised he aint playing in the A grade

Thanks for caring Schimma. I have had a chest infection all last week which meant I didnt get to play through the middle as much as I would have liked to or should normally.
The tackle you are talking about was just a even er uper. The bloke I tackled even said I did nothing wrong. Thats just footy and ya get on with it.

I thought the guy with the hat was better then the bearded umpire, in the end, they didnt effect the result, was a good win for us boys and we have another challenge this week.

#24 has played alot of A grade footy at the club but as he is now in his 30's and struggling with a bad knee he has scaled back a bit this year. Was going to play B's but coaching commitments at the school he teaches at that don't end until 11.30 forced to him to play C's to get a game.

The free kick against Fisty was probably for some sort of Hopoate 'finger up the date' like incident. Good decision by the Umpire likely.

Its a shame when you are finals and have league that umpire worse then the club umpires. With club umpires you expect some poor decisions, so when get the league umpires you expect it to be a great game and the better side gets up and not because of umpire decisions. Hopefully this weeks 2 games can have some great umpiring and let the boys on the field go out and have a cracker of a game. All right there's my rant for the day now onto this weeks game.

FP vs Smosh I have to go FP here haven't lost all year and can't see them droping this one. Smosh where good against Mitcham last week but it really was the B graders running the ball for them. Can see them really strut ing this week with out those boys. FP by 6 goals

Mitcham vs Portland even though mitcham got rolled last week I think without those B graders and a ex ST Micks skool teacher as a umpire they would of got the job done. The Portland boys had a good win last week and beating mitcham a couple of weeks a go they will be going feeling pretty good. This game is too close for me to call so I'm not going to. There is a heap of things that can decided this game and I just hope these things don't dictate the out come and let the better team on the day win

So u saying an umpire is worth 10 goals. And 5 players from B grade the week before. hmm ok you must follow the c3 team lists very close. If they all played B grade all year they would not be able to play. Smosh played within the laws set by the SAAFL. 3 players played in the B grade the week before. 1 was his only game in the second half of the year. Look after ya own back yard before u slag off other teams. If ya from Portland ya letting ya club down with such crap talk. Fisty, satchel and picca don’t talk as much crap as you combined. Get educated or just let it be.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Firstly I ain't from Portland and secondly I was actually sitting with mates that play for smosh that have informed me on where these guys have been playing. Yes they did play within the rules only because there a b and c all ply finals they could of dropped Charlie Rae to play c grade without playing a c grade game all year. And it's pretty funny seeing one of those guys is invited to the association medal count for D3R. Hey at the end of the day smosh made the decision to play these players in the c grade and they fully entitled to do so just don't come on here and try to make out you didn't drop any b graders when you know you did maybe you should go to your club and get educated

so schimma knowing how you smosh boys work i'll give you a little education lesson. Taylor Parham all 18 games this year 0 D grade 3 C grade 11 B and wait for it make sure this one sinks in 4 A grade. This is definately not a c grader if he is playing 4 games in the A's. Yes as I said before they where lucky enough to play these guys within the law because the B grade had the week, but if the B grade weren't playing finals then no he wouldn't be allowed to play C grade. I will say i'm sorry as i didn't know how many B graders where actually playing, as when I asked my mate he said yeh theres a few b graders out there, I was only going by hollywood saying there was 5. But maybe before you fly off at someone and say there talking crap and should get educated you should maybe you want to say it to someone that didn't go to ST mick's and has a lot of mates he played footy with at smosh.

Why would he then be able to Play C Grade final then. I thought you could always go up but not down unless its i grade. The majority have to be played in the grade youyr playing the finals in. I could be wrong. Thats what the officials at mine said?

Smosh have the luxury of playing blokes in different grades cause they have worked hard all season.

he can play C grade because all 3 grades are in the finals Satchel. You have to play the majority eg, in my case cause the B grade didnt make it.
Cause he has played A's all it means was he would have had to play a B grade game or get a permit if he dropped from A's to C's

I have been told that even if you have all teams in finals allowing for free interchange between grades that a team sheet must still be submitted for the team that is not playing and then in the next week if all are still playing there is a maximum of changes that can be made, which may be three. If this is true then it would make no sense to drop a bunch of players to the Cgrade and then not allowing them to go back up. Would like to know if this is true but dont have a copy of rules.
