Any more news one there A's though?? Any more losses or have they started to recruit a few more?!
Its all good having a strong B grade but at the end of the day the A's make or break the club

Heard they are chasing a lad named kynan Buhlman from Freeling, midsized forward can take a good catch pretty tough, kicking for goal is a bit of a problem but will be a handy target for them

If my memory is correct he would have been in and around Port Maggies Juniors?

you would be correct muffler, come down from Port Lincoln to play for the Magies, played 17s and 19s out there till he left for freeling, apparently they have put an offer forward thats reasonably handsome, you would think they would have a bit of spare cash floating around with the departure of a few big name players, Kynan is a good lad and seaton be happy if they could secure him for 2011

The way I read it was they were just gonna play B grade, no reasons for them to do that.
know that we have a better idea of why, I think its great they aint just throwing in the towel and will help to develop a good B grade side, playing with blokes of that calibre would definately help young guys!!

would much prefer they were doing this in our jumper rather than seatons though, seatons B grade were very strong last year and obviously only getting better if the likes of these blokes plus the coach of the B grade another who is still capable of playing A grade are all suiting up in the 2nds, going to have a ripper B grade side

That was the point i was trying to make. You go to a club because their A grade is successful not any other grade  Dont expect these guys to give it up just sayn that where are these kids going to fit in, if the Bs are full there are only two other grades. Just seems like you have a group playn for a flag, not that thats a problem but do it in the Cs and let the kids devolop. We all know your Bs should all be about the kids (my opinion anyway) and thats why it seems like the club is being put second behind personal glory :(

He will be very handy for them, very good forward target. Played a couple of games for us in the 18s a couple of years ago and went alright. What happened to him Piccachu? He kinda disappeared for a while there, did he get cut from Ports and move back home?

Thought i would spark some debate an early ladder prediction (teams in order) and some very un educated thoughts based on rumour.

CBC
Obviously going to pick the mighty dolphins to finish top. Seems like we may have lost some players to the lure of $$$$$$ (i wont give names till its in black and white speculate all u want) but if we can pull off a couple of recruits that we are targeting i think we can push for finals. As a club its vital we stay up in Duv 3 and consolidate our spot then push for higher honours.

Also congrats to Josh Hegarty for making the 1st cut at Glenelg.

Flinders Park
Joint favourites with Portland. The yoyo is on its way back up. Im hearing they had a list of over 100 players who they will target for season 2k11. Speaking to a few Flinders boys who have been there a long time and they assure me money isnt getting thrown around. I hope they are not holding out on the blokes who have been there through think and thin and splashing cash on ring ins. Could spell disaster down the track. Really looking forward to playing against the likes of Fuller and George really good blokes will defiantly be having a few frosties with the lads come the final siren.

Portland
CBCs bogie side in 07 we snapped them out of a form slump and they went on to a granny and in 010 we ensured they would play good footy for the rest of the year. But i think u need a big #### off key forward running through your hot spot clearing the traffic to win the big one. They are the side everyone loves to beat........

Mitcham
Hidden in the eastern subs noone knows sh!t bout them. Very clever coach needed a Doctorate in midfield rotations to keep up with their midfield match ups. When they have their talls up they will bring on the razzle dazzle. But for christ sake someone needs to tell some of those boys to stop trying to kick round corners, it kept us in with a sniff in elim final

Para Hills
Well im going on a mates word here. He was told by a mate who plays for Paro Hills they have 60 + out to train and Bamford has brought out a handful of old Maggie teammates. Very inconsistent unit last year.

Golden Grove
We played them 2yrs ago and they were a very young team with not enough size but the law of averages would say these kids are a bit bigger now. Im hearing they have recruited well but only what has been said on here.

Smosh
How can a club have such strong B's C's D's and a middle of the road A grade? Murphys law is it all steams from the A grade and is a flow on effect down the grades, is it an internal prob, blokes dont want/cant play up?........ Had some very good players that i seen running around in the 2's. I def think they are underachievers and can be better. Could be a sleeping giant.

Pooraka
No bloudy idea. Will be a big step up i hear the div 4 grannys teams from season 010 weren't as strong as 09 will need to recruit heavily to be in finals contention.

Pembroke
Played a trial game against them last year and seemed to have a lot of outside players but not many in and under players. This was a trial game though and we also had alot of blokes out. Mayb someone from 010's duv 2 can comment on them.

Seaton
Only going on what i read on here. Say no more.

Now lads dont take any of this to heart i havent seen 4 of the teams play and its all based on what people have told me and what i read on here. Just trying to give an honest view on the comp and spark up the forum.

Thought I'd be the first to respond.
Mitcham- We are looking at obviously improving to really make an impact in div3. Last years heartbreaking loss to our nemesis Portland hurt the boys and the boys are determined to make sure it doesn't happen again. Top 3 is where we would like to be by finals time.

Cbcoc- If you have lost Douglas you could be in abit of trouble. Was very surprised noone flattened your dolphin mascot at the elim final last year.

Flinders Park- from all reports they are throwing the coin around. Will they fit the recruits into the points system will be interesting. They are determined to go straight back up.

Portland- from what a few boys have posted on here have picked up guys from lower divs. Will they make an impact not so sure bout that. Div 3 was very competitive last year much better div than 09. Prior will be handy though. Moody will be a big loss though.

Para Hills- Bamford has banned all Para Hills people commenting on the forum so not sure who they have lost or gained. A plympton mid could be an in. Scott Bamford played at north not port think u have him mixed up with Tony bamford.

Pembroke- no idea about them but I think they will be a very young side as most of their guns defected to Unley. Could be favourite to be relegated.

Golden grove- looking at making an impact in div 3 so could be throwing coin around. From all reports their oval one of the best in the saafl.

Pooraka- no idea but proud club so would think they would want to be competitive.

Smosh- will be a dark horse this year. With minners leaving you would think they will be better. Should be around the mark. I wouldn't be writing them off just yet.

Seaton- New coach, wanders, degabrielle and a few others gone and a few older a grade players stepping down can they be competitive. Winning the b's flag last year shows they have depth but if they have to play a's can they cover them in the b's.
Hopefully div 3 is as good as last year. If so could be a cracker of a year.

I'll add my two bobs worth on what i know, only followed div 4 the last couple of seasons and looking forward to seeing some different teams play this year at a higher level.

Golden Grove -- Believe 3 to Gaza, 1 to an ankle reco who won't play this year and some to TTG. Might be up against it.

Pooraka -- Not much change to last year, whether this will be good enough we'll see

Para Hills -- Only seen in trial games the last couple of seasons, but as i live very close and drive home at training time, i don't believe the 60 on the track bit.

Look out here come the fun police. Could say the same about the blokes who sat behind our coaches box and gave sh!t to Jars all day, then brought their own beers to game (not a major issue we have all done it once or twice) but left empties scattered all over the place. Put em back in ur esky and take em home.

Mate I'm pretty sure jars has heard worse than what the supporters gave him. I did hear someone calling out DARREN DARREN. he wasn't happy bout that. Nothing to get upset about. Mitcham wasn't the only club drinking at the ground and I do believe after an a grade game I went ti purchase a beer and u ran out!! So bringing our own even though u said it wasn't a big deal isn't such a bad thing.

Bringing your own beer to a game where the hosts only stream of income is from canteen/bar takings is an insult.
We probably had some left but had already packed it away due to lack of sales.
