So you're leaving a Div1 club for a Div 2 club?

...and not everyone wants to either!

fair enough but have only recently moved down eastern park area and i'd rather drive 2 minutes to footy training then 40 minutes

Fair enough but I think 40mins is a bit exaggerated!!

I rekon if you boys could jump up a Div again, you might get some old players back, couple of big note too.
Its funny how every ex-player says that but they are not willing to help the club get up the grades in the first place..
Not a shot at you, just in general
Yeah understand that point, but if they are playing at the highest possible level, can't really fault them. i know of quite a few boys that went through the Hope Valley juniors that are playing SANFL, Ressies, Div 1 & 2. Its the ones in the country earning "easy" money that are more the problem. In saying that though, do you chase these players or are you waiting for them to come back, i know this year we are actually asking past players back to the club, it seems to be working.

Broadview will dominate with their pick ups and should only stay in Div 2 for the one season
PHOS & Adelaide Uni round out top 3

er...........didn't we hear how Uni was going through undefeated this year, win every game by 30 goals, and the GF by 40 goals

Get real Tigers - always loved playing against ya, and I have friends out there, but you would have come close to bottom of A2 this year. The Blackfriars U15's would have beaten your B grade.........no depth at all. Not like the great years when you had 5 teams in the finals. You need close to 20 new, A1 - A2 quality, players to dominate and a $%^&load of money, which you dont have. Good luck, but be real.......

Out of interest 93-94, what pickups?

Obviously Wintle for one along with at least 2 others from Rooster Land and I hear a few from the B&LG are headed to Tiger Land - I have been asked not to reveal names by one of the committee members so I will respect their wishes

Can anyone from EP confirm that Gummeraca have made approaches to several players. I dont really trust the source from where this came from so thought I would seek confirmation before naming names

Seaton have retained all players from last year, Paul Marshall, Luke Walsh and Adam Parry are back, and they have spoken with a couple of Port boys.
Started training last week, had about 25 on the track, most of them kids coming through.

So if those guys go, as well as Solly, Scott and co. to Brahma Lodge, they'd need to get a few in to be competitive in A2 wouldn't they?

I believe Ashby originally from The Lodge then went to Eastern Park - I think he still owes people money at The Lodge so dont think he will head there
