Former Port Adelaide player Mark Dittmar is coach there and has pretty strong ties with both.

have heard ashley nourse has left broadview and signed with bute on the YP - $300 sign on fee + $250 a game! can anyone confirm he has left broadie's? is he worth this much?
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

Can confirm he has left Broadview. As for the payment it is grossly too much, he was a fringe A grader last year with severe attitude problems. I think Bute will find out they have picked up a dud pretty quickly.

As for the previous Broadview coach, its ok to be a good coach and have a great game plan, but if you do not have a back up plan you are in trouble. Thats where i hear he lost the players confidence when he could not take constructive critisism about his game plan and coaching techniques. Neither defending him or attacking him, but if he is as good as everyone is saying, why was he not picked up by other clubs this year before accepting a desk job at Westies.

yeah by the sounds of things ashley nourse might be one of those players that change clubs every year because the club work out that they are an absolute waste of time! not before paying the player $$$$ though!

there should be a website like the cheating partners site and call it football sl*ts! then clubs could go on there and determine wether they sign a bloke up or not!

It sounds like something that Ash would do. Went chasing the $$'s from TTG to Broadview and upset a lot of team mates. Not a good reputation at TTG or Broadview, and who else in the SAAFL A1 would have him now? It would make sense to him to change leagues.

To pay an unfaithful fringe player like that $250 per game is insane. They must have more dollars than sense!!

First I have heard of it!! We have lost a couple of fringe players and that's it. Weaver is a top bloke and the blokes love having him as coach.

If you have names that would be great. Even PM me if you don't want to mention them on here, but I will let you know either way.

Dessy has gone overseas, so he isn't playing next year. Gibbo and Noske are both training the house down and will definitely be in the red and black next year. All signed, sealed and delivered.

I guess nothing is really 'official' until the clearances open on Monday, but looks like Thompson could be heading to Gepps Cross. Played in a back pocket for us.

Boys, not sure where you get your info from but let me assure you, $200 for Luke Thompson is rubbish. I would have thought you guys would be wise enough to work out that all players tend to stretch their value to the max whether it is for their ego or to suck others in to thinking silly thoughts. Realistic numbers please
