agree with you 100% chrammy. Sam White from smosh would have to be one of the best defenders in the league if not the best. Can play small or tall and was hardly beaten this year. Cannot believe his name is not mentioned in smosh players for team of the year.
Greenfield from walkerville almost unstoppable at CHF, is big, agile and kicks the ball well. Will be a tough match up for SPOC this saturday.
Cakebread with limited apperances would have to nearly walk into the team of the yr as well. class player and another player almost impossible to match up on because plays both tall and small.

Also agree with that Chrammy and FS. Defenders dont stand out like forwards and midfielders either, and defenders dont need possessions to have won their position. I think most of us could name forwards from all the teams in D3 but would struggle to name a defender from each. Granleese was rock solid for us all year at CHB, and played on the opposition's best and biggest forward most weeks. Martinovic was also good for us at full back, and was fighting above his weight most weeks.
What number was White FS ? Who was the blonde guy off half back (#21 or #12 ???), he was good both times against us at zoning off and rebounding.
Agree on Cakebread too, but played too few games IMO. The same discussion is going on the D4 thread about Roo. I think the team of the year should be a reward for a whole season, not just a few games. If you were picking a side that would actually play, he would be one of the first picked though.

Quite clearly, no one has responded to this comment as we are all trying to control our laughter. - "Or more like tool of the year!"... Very VERY good. (note the sarcasm!!!)
