Gotta get it to him first :D He couldn't do a thing wrong though, when others were dropping marks he was sticking all that came to him and when others couldn't hit the side of a barn he was drilling them from forty out on the boundary. Stellar performance by the sheephead

There were other factors in the win. Lehman was tagged out of the game after half time and our middle in Ballatori and Dwyer started winning more of the ball. Leech on the wing was at his nuggety best again.

Don't think we got out of first gear until the last quarter, far from our best game this year.

Yeah i do agree but if he didnt have such a good day then you wouldnt have won... And i also dont think you can play much better than that, but thats only my opinion.

Shutting Lehman out was the key? Interesting...

Also - how do you reply directly to someones post!!?

But you couldn't stop him and you also couldn't stop us hitting him lace out. We weren't going to focus our forward entries around him, but after it became clear you had no one to beat him we used Starry whenever he presented.

Not Lehman sorry, I meant Millar. He killed us in the first half, but the tag greatly reduced his influence, which meant Rhodes was thrown into the middle who was a dangerous target when forward.

And we have played a lot better than that. We probably didn't play a single quarter of clean footy, only the last half of the last quarter did we play some solid and fluid footy, which was when we finally got away from you guys.

Any truth to the rumour that your major sponsor will pull the pin if you don't win any more games?

Have you guys lost more players during the year or long term injuries? as talk early on was that going to be a brief visit in Div 6 and nothing short of a GF and back to Div 5 would be accepted and had a $$$ budget to work with to recruit players.
Going on 07 results were pretty stiff to be relegated losing 8 games by less than 2 goals and now looking at relegation again, what's gone wrong?

I'm glad that you added that it was only your opinion, which is fair enough, but, to be honest, we have played like absolute crap both times we have played BL and I'm guessing seeing those 2 games is all your judging us on. Trust me, we can, and have played much better than we did on saturday. No discredit to your guys, but I think Saturdays effort was one of our worst for the year. And that includes all the beltings we have taken this year. It's one thing to be beaten by your opponents controlling the game, it's quite another to hand the game to them with continual poor disposal and extremely bad decision making (like we did on saturday). We were VERY lucky to get away with the win. And yes, sheephead starry pretty much saved our asses, but don't let him know that, his head is MASSIVE as it is! (and I don't mean he's up himself, he's just literally got a massive head!! I don't know how his neck has held that thing up for this many years!!)

Credit to BL though, knew what was at stake and played some tough, gutsy and fair footy. Perhaps some of our skill error was due to their pressure.

As for number 24 in the BL Reserves.....Fruit-Loop

Then his neck and head would be out of place on that wirey frame. The legs might buckle

He probably does! Many have coveted this prime beef neck over the years but all have failed when they tried to get a piece. And 24 is DEFINATELY a fruit loop!! Still waiting for him to slit my throat like he signalled he was gonna do!!

Oh, that reminds me. Funny how Houghton is OFFICIALLY put on report for umpire abuse/bad language on the sidelines etc and told that SAAFL officials will be coming to our games to watch our every move, threatening to kick the club out of the competition if anything untoward occurs. Brahma Lodge's B Grade puts on their display at half time and their supporters for the A grade were utter filth.....and nothing comes of it. Interesting....Even more interesting, a certain SAAFL board member was present on the day, witnessing #24 in the B's try to fight just about anyone he could AND BL's B grade coach abuse and swear at the umpire at half time and nothing comes of it......Oh, did I forget to mention that this particular SAAFL board member is also on the Brahma Lodge board? How silly of me.

Great win to the A grade on Saturday. Shows what they can do when they put four solid quarters of their better football together.
